Throwback to my first visit at Duo branch. Tried the Shira Kaba Large Hitsumabushi ($39.40) where you get the best of both world - half salted and another half with unagi sauce. This is only available at their Duo branch 😌
Having tried both, I find myself dipping the salted version with the spicy unagi sauce (available at each table). So you can probably tell what’s my preference 😂

Fret not, because this Durian Alaska ($18) with pandan sponge and kaya is the bomb 💣
A local dish with combination of my favourite durian ice cream paired with pandan chiffon cake, then coated with a light caramelised pandan meringue that forms the esplanade exterior 😂
This is then served atop a thin layer of biscuit spread with their house-made durian kaya. One is not even enough for me 🤤
