6 Letter Coffee - Part 3/4 The 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘀 piqued our interest. Nestled within the tortilla shells were scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and tomato salsa, brought together harmoniously by the chipotle honey aioli. The tacos tasted sensational, but $15 for two pieces was rather steep.

6 Letter Coffee - Part 2/4 The 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶 ($19) caught our attention. The masterfully marinated chicken thigh was perfectly executed and surprisingly went well with the side of mashed avocado. The rosti, however, wasn’t crispy enough for our liking.

Lunch Inside Flower Dome If you would like to spend the early afternoon with your better half, with scenery, then @fennelcafe is for you! 💕 If I’m not mistaken, having reservations with the cafe, allows you to have free shuttle service and flower dome entrance, so you could just make a reservation at this cafe if there is any flower dome season that attracts you. While, for the food-wise, it is quite mediocre for me, it’s definitely edible, but it didn’t wow me. What wow me is how small the flat white was at the price of $6 😂 We made reservations before 1pm, which is their lunch menu, and out of the two dishes, I would still go with their toasted leg ham panini. As it has the solid cheese taste and personally I do love their pickled vegetables. As for their Tagliatelle alla bolognese with aged parmesan, the flavour is really strong despite the pasta doesn’t have much sauce, but it is still moisturized. Za’atar Roast Salmon The salmon is absolutely delicious. It’s cooked to pink which I love. You can request for well done too! This place has completely revamped their menu and their food is very good! My friend and I agreed that they should have some fries selection in their menu! Nice ambience too!

Compliments to the chef 👍🏻 The waffles are crispy yet soft, and the smoked salmon / turkey ham were delicious as well. Sides: Truffle-flavoured mushroom ❤️ Apple and garden salad (with ofc, japanese sesame sauce) This meal was super filling for breakfast, considering the large portion of the waffle sandwich :) The only downside of the experience - service was a bit lacking seeing that only a part-timer was there. Smoked Salmon And Eggs Grilled Waffle Sandwich ($17.90) We first tried forage cafe's buttermilk waffle dishes at their original outlet at jalan pari burong a few years ago and WE WERE SOLD. They're the best buttermilk waffles we have eaten so far and we were quite glad that the quality of the dishes were the same at this new outlet. Ambience wise, the original outlet is definitely better but we would gladly trade that for the convenience of this outlet :) Being a honey themed cafe, most of their dishes are served with their multifloral honey, including their waffle dishes, which you can drizzle the honey on! Their waffles are crispy on the outside, really chewy on the inside, and buttery much. With savoury smoked salmon, egg mayo and cheese as the filling, every bite will leave you wanting for more! You'll be served a side of truffle mushrooms and salad as well. This is a must order dish every time we visit forage cafe. Highly recommend! 👍👍👍

Wild Milky Way As part of Forage Cafe's second anniversary celebrations, the cafe launched a series of special set meals for $16++! Top up an additional $3.50++ and you can get one of the cafe's signature honey drinks, which are usually priced at around $8++! This offer is too good to pass, and we decided to use the chance to try out one of the cafe's honey series drinks - the Wild Milky Way! The base for the drink is da hong Pao milk tea, and honey, as well as herbal jelly, are added as complements. It was a refreshing drink to complement our savoury waffle dishes, and there is the distinctive taste of honey in the drink, which was a pretty interesting pairing with milk tea. Our only complaint is that the drink was overly sweet at the start, and we waited for the ice to melt a little. 😅 Do try the Honey Series if you are up for a cold beverage with honey!

Closing Down Promotion Had the 1 for 1 Maple Butter Cream Pancake as part of their closing down and relocation to the west sale. Paid $16.80++ thr price of one set. The whipped cream is flavourful and the flufflness of the pancake is amazing.

Light and fluffy Pancakes are light and fluffy, and good sized portions too. I enjoyed the plain pancakes This place is halal certified so you can bring your muslim friends too. Water is served here.

☁️ These souffle pancakes were extremely fluffy, akin to eating clouds, I mean, they better be since I waited so long for them. As someone with a sweet tooth, I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself favouring the Egg Benedicts pancake over their Berries ones. Despite having a mountain of cream served on the latter, it was not cloyingly sweet since it was pretty light on the palate. As for the Egg Benedict pancakes, 1 of it was served with salmon, while the other was with prawns. It was pretty textbook though, nothing much to shoutabout but still worth a try at least!

Twice Cooked Spanish Suckling Piglet ($38) The portion was small but reasonably filling (although we did order a burrata salad and truffle fries to fill our tummies before the mains came and I would suggest you do the same!) The scallops were super well executed; the pork was tender and tasty although not mindblowing. All in all - worth the price I think, especially given the great service!

Very nice place with ambience Ordered the French toast n waffle breakie, very nice French toast, and both the breakfast comes with generous portion. Very filling after eating. Like their idea of using waffle for the breakie instead of usual bread.

Knots burger $30 Nice decor with a lot of plants. Green with a garden vibe. The food was okay. Nothing great but not bad at all. I figured people come here for the insta photos and not the food. I ordered the beef Burger and the shrimps aglio olio with some green juice and affogato coffee on the side. Burger and drinks were good. Pasta was ordinary. Overall spent $60, which I did not regret at all. But don't see myself coming back soon. Oh also they don't not accept credit card or pay wave, which is really old considering the high price point

Knots cafe Nice chill cafe with alot of plants.

Chicken Garam Masala And Mushroom Somen Meat was tender and juicy; spice mix on point. The mushroom somen ($6) was a meal on its own - sauce is very flavourful; somen soft and tender.

Polenta Crepe And Vegetable Medley ($22++) Vegetables were bursting with flavour. It was very filling; staff very attentive.

For 1-for-1 Main Dish (save ~$25) Heads up, fans of funky fare! This diner doles out mains with a modern twist on old comforts. Take the Braised Beef Meatballs ($25) served with herb celeriac, wood ear fungus and lemon sauce for a tangy finish! Their Garam Masala Chicken Drumsticks ($24) is reminiscent of tandoori chicken with the fresh spices and herbs.
