Just ordered a classic serving for a fix of potato plus a cold elderflower tea which was slightly sour but really helps to cleanse the palate especially for the type of food that a rosti is. I added truffle oil as well, although cant really tell that there was an add on. But the rosti was really great!! They quite perfectly balance the right amount of oil to use that it doesn't feel greasy at all. The serving was also generous. Would definitely be returning for more!!

Nestled in the hawker on top of bishan bus interchange L2 is this Chinese store that serves hand pulled noodle. The noodles were very well done and seasoned with a generous serving of tofu and minced pork, topped with shredded cucumber and placed in a braised sauce. It was a good portion of homely food.

I really like how clean and fresh this bowl looks and taste! The salmon was tossed in a mala sauce that was slightly spicy but still manageable (for someone like me who can't take too much spicey). We got it on the burpple beyond 1-1 so it was pretty worth it! The views here is so awesome too, and there's charging ports on the tables to charge your gadgets. Very nice open ambience. Definitely one of my go to spot from now on 😌

Got the modern popiah combo which includes a popiah, tea and soup on burpple 1-1deals. Really worth it as we paid only $10.90 for 2 combos. My friend got the mushroom soup. The soup is quite light and more liquidy as compared to places like soup spoon which has a thick more robust flavors. However I do still enjoy it this way as it gives a very homely feel in comparison. The popiah was nice, with generous amount of chicken wrapped within. Feels abit like a chicken burrito wrapped with popiah skin.

Really clean food with a rice and lettuce base. Second time here. I love the generous big cubes of salmon in this bowl and how they are so extremely fresh!

Tried their maze-men and gyoza. went in with little expectation but the maze-men was great! Noodles were tangy, ingredients were very generous and blended really well into a classic flavor. They have a promotional lunch menu for their fried rice and maze-men selection now, which makes it really affordable. Ordered genmai tea alongside the meal and the waiter came by to refill the drink for us when we sat around, which I felt was a really nice gesture! Would definitely return again!

Birds of a paradise is a conceptual ice-cream place that aims to serve up flavors that are close to nature. I always come here for a quick cold fix. One thing I love about their ice-cream are the very natural and light flavours which almost makes it feel very healthy and not at all sinful after having it everytime. The cones are also one of the reason why they are so popular, as they make their own unique cones that has this herb infused fragrant to it which is just extremely enjoyable and tasty.

As a huge huge fan of acai, I must say that acai affair really serves up the best cup of acai out of all the other places I've tried. The acai has a great consistency of sorbet like texture, neither too icy nor too watery. I love the generosity of granola, chia seed and sunflower seeds topped as well. It also has 2 layers of granola and nut butter, once on top and another in the middle. I've been here almost 20 over times now, and I've never been once disappointed. The quality served is always consistently good regardless of who the server is. Even though acai bowls in itself is pretty costly, I've found myself unable to resist coming here. Highly recommended!

Redeemed with burpple 1 for 1. We order the supermodel and white collar, altogether was $18 for 2 large bowls + 2 cup of hot tea. Portion was reasonably sized and the acai had a good consistency but was slightly more runny than we would normally prefer. Overall, a good fast fix only.
