Chicken Burger 🐱 - Chicken Burger ($22) The chicken patty is slightly oily, but luckily it’s not too dry on the inside — a common mistake in chicken burgers. The buns are nice and soft, the French fries crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the coleslaw is just, oh well, a typical coleslaw, nothing special. Also what’s with that lonely quarter-strip slice of the poor pickle when there’s room for more pickles…?!?!?!

Pancake with warm maple butter 🍵 - Pancake with warm maple butter ($20) w choice of blueberry (high recommendation), banana walnut or chocolate chunks. I really like their thick pancake but I managed to eat two of pancake pieces only. It was too much for me and good for sharing with people. The pancake got eggy taste and quite soft texture. The warm maple butter and blueberry sauce was really thick and sweet aftertaste. The sauce complemented well with the pancake 👍

Blueberry Pancakes We were lucky to try their pancakes before they close their Singapore outlet for good! The pancakes resembled that of mcgriddles muffins but more fluffy! The maple syrup was really thick and fragrant. However as the serving size was pretty big, this could get quite jelak towards the end. Nevertheless, still a wonderful plate of pancakes!

Belgian Dark Chocolate Loaf If you love chocolate, be sure to cut Le Bijoux’s Belgian dark chocolate loaf ($10.50) into thin slices, if you don’t want to tip the scales. Theirs is so moist and chocolatey, you’ll want to eat the whole loaf. So either be a good neighbour and give away some, or be prepared for major temptation! : )

Chunky Egg Sandwich The combination of a Raisin and walnut bread and a chopped up hard boiled egg with a touch of mayo is just magical . A good combination of textures ( toasted bread again the soft eggs) and flavours ( sweet raisins against the savoury eggs ) . Simple ingredients but brilliant combination . The usual egg sandwich set comes with a whole meal/ bran bread so do opt to change your bread to raisin and walnut.

Cranberry Scones If anything at all , the size of these scones makes it impossible to see them and not buy them. Ask for your scones to be warmed up and expect a crisp outer layer with a moist buttery interior. Perfect for an afternoon tea treat. Coffee is decent here as well .

Maxi Cofee Bar☕️ Went to Maxi Coffee Bar and ordered an Iced Cereal Milk Latte ($7.50) and a Black Cold Brew ($5.80)!😇 Overall ratings 8/10! Really liked the Cereal Latte but the Cold Brew has quite a sour note🥹 Would head back again for the Cereal Latte😁

Christmas-Edition Pancakes ($16.50) The usual fluffy pancakes garnished with cinnamon crumble, cranberry sauce and fresh raspberries. Slathered it with eggnog sauce, and each bite was screaming Christmas vibes. Order this if you’re feeling a little jingly 🎄

Soufflé Pancakes This must be how clouds taste like. It’s our second time at Poofy and the soufflé pancakes still tasted as good as we remembered. Pair them with a cup of coffee from Hinoki for an even better experience!

Signature Pancakes $14 No need more words. These melt in your mouth and are so fluffy!! Loved the vanilla chantilly cream as well. One is my favourite soufflé pancakes for sure. Hope they move should habitat close down.

Decent meal but lacking in service Service was underwhelming. Wanted to celebrate an anniversary with my partner and had stated as such in the reservation booking. Even came by holding a bouquet of flowers. But in the end, there was no special gesture by the staff to help commemorate this special occasion; not even an offer to decorate our dessert! Further, clearing of our plates was not prompt and I had to take quite some effort to call someone over to serve our dessert. As for the food, the Cauliflower ($18) was really bland and lacked the nutty sweetness of a well-grilled cauliflower. It just tasted like it was boiled which lost most of it's fragrance; the layer of hazelnut also didn't seem to gel well with the cauliflower in terms of flavour and texture - every bite of this was almost a chore! The other side that we got, the Potato Gratin ($8) fared better and was much more enjoyable albeit the small size. For our mains of Seared Halibut ($34), we really enjoyed the fresh halibut, with its moist flesh and crisp skin. The clams were also plump and juicy which even my partner who doesn't prefer clams say that she liked it. However, I thought that there was a excessive amount of fennel which almost overpowered the natural taste of the seafood. Ended off the meal with the Warm Pear Lemon ($18) and a glass of sweet wine ($18). The pear dessert was a delight with its intense pear flavours in a multitude of forms, though I wished that the croissant was warmer so as to contrast the cold sorbet better. Overall, the vibes of the place was nice and the food was decent, and with Accor+ you can get up to 50% off your food (and 15% off wine) which makes for a value-for-money meal. If only service was better, I would have had a much more memorable and positive experience here.

My First Impossible Once you get past the strong fermented scent, digging into the Impossible Burger at Stamford Brasserie was a pleasant surprise. Strangely does taste like real meat! Unfortunately, it didn’t wow me enough to justify the price that impossible meats are normally tagged with.

an underwhelming experience I had visited TSB once before and quite enjoyed my meal then, so this was disappointing in comparison. We shared the TSB burger ($26++) which was highly rated but we found the “wagyu” patty dry, crumbly and cold. We actually enjoyed the brioche pepper bun more. Our other item was the roasted baby chicken ($22++), which fared better. While not flavourful, the chicken was at least moist and tender. We enjoyed the grilled brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potato - these gave flavour that the chicken was otherwise lacking. Service left much to be desired as it was difficult to get hold of the servers for simple things like water and the bill. Hoping that TSB will perform better on the next visit!

Chicken salad + grilled cheese food is mediocre 🥺 nothing special

Way too expensive for basics Service and table wait was amazing. Food wise mediocre. Literally scrambled eggs with toast for $16, top up pork sausage for 6, adding up to $22. Look at it. Normal pre packed, processed sausages I would say. Normal bread, not even sourdough. What can I say, basic and soulless food. A bit sad and disappointed and way too pricey. Mocha came in a tiny glass cup. Wasn’t tasty too. Ambience??, no ambience.

Reuben 17++ It's decent, everything was not too strong. There could have been more meat tho. The bread had a noteworthy hard crisp which reminded me of crispy waffles for some reason Overall expensive place and not worth it at all, food is decent but quite overhyped

Iced Mint Mocha Iced Mint Mocha at Tolido's Espresso Nook is a refreshing masterpiece! The perfect balance of rich espresso, velvety milk, and invigorating mint flavours creates a delightful summer treat. Visually stunning, with mint leaves and chocolate powder, making it Instagram-worthy.

Pumpkin spice latte Seriously can't take any pumpkin spice at all. There's a little bit of nutmeg on top. They took our feedback and made us another cup. Very nice but honestly both taste exactly the same lol no pumpkin spice

Brownie Blackout brownies are all good, this one is abit too sticky-dense and outside isn't the most crispy, so not top tier. But still enjoyable

Duck with salt, pepper and roasted garlic Most if not all restaurants will offer to serve up the remains of the carved up peking duck in a different manner for an extra $5 to $10 as a means to eke out extra cash from their customers. I usually find this a terrible waste of money as you usually end up with a giant heap of duck bones which no one eats because it is annoying to have to gnaw on the bones just to get at scraps of dry, old and tough duck meat. I am not sure if Famous Treasure levies an extra surcharge. I'm sure however that they deliberately serve you less sliced duck meat alongside the crispy duck skin so that you get decent sized chunks of moist, tender duck meat stir fried with salt, pepper and roasted garlic comes. Needless to say, there was no duck left behind this time!

Sautéed squid with chinchalok and lady's finger This is one of Famous Treasure's signature dishes, and it's not hard to see why! This sounds like a relatively simple and straightforward dish but is in reality, quite difficult to execute. Due to varying cooking times, it is quite easy to end up with squid which is tough and rubbery or ladies fingers which are 'old' and soggy. No such problems with Famous Treasure's sautéed squid with sambal and chinchalok. The tr textures of the key ingredients are preserved - the squid is tender and chewy and the ladies fingers crunchy. They are all coated in fragrant and aromatic sambal and savoury umami chinchalok. This is the perfect rice-grabbing dish!

Peking duck ($98) We were back at Famous Treasure for a CNY lunch and it was, as usual, a sumptuous treat visually and astronomically. Famous Treasure's peking duck was crackling good. The skin is thin and crisp, and beautifully roasted to amber brown perfection. For those who are lazy like me, you will like that the duck skin is served wrapped in a thin crepe. All you need to do is dabbed a little hoisin sauce or sugar and it's good to eat!

salted flower crab 40++for 2, min 2 The name is really damn misleading, pls don't think of it as a very simple salted crab. The shells are easy to crack, flesh was flaky and tender. But what sets this dish apart is the wok hei salt mix on the exterior that you're inevitably sucking on when you're eating the crab. It tastes mostly salty, but it's so insanely complex and addictive that it blows my mind cos I can't figure out any of the spices that results in the taste. Overall it's really good, plus it's unique, worth a try even if you don't normally like crab

Volcano chicken 58++ Very pricey, the rum flambe is definitely theatrics but the food is actually good. Their ckn was tender, there's some crisp, and the light marinade is complex and very unique, I haven't had anything quite like it. Mainly savoury and aromatic The spring onion ginger sauce is light but insanely good. The other green sauce has many different herbs inside, there's a bit of mint and even a watermelon taste. If not for the ridiculous price, it's a must try

Chincalok squid (small)18++ Their portion is pretty tiny, this wasn't enough for two guys. Then again famous treasure is the same Tastes abit diff from what I rmbed from famous treasure, it's still good. You can smell the chincalok, but can't rlly taste it. The dish is complex and deep and goes well w rice Their signature for a reason

Hot chocolate Tanzania 7.5nett One for the hipsters. I really dislike this place. They don't reply their insta, they're cashless, hard to find, cannot takeaway. Just a general pain in the neck Given how they encourage people to dine in, you can imagine how packed this place is with hobos. 30mins before they closed, the place is still packed. Jesus Christ This hot choc is not well crafted at all. The milk foam is thick as hell, to the point I thought the chocolate is weak. Chocolate notes are dark and fruity, without much sweetness at all. Except that it's all at the bottom, as if it's not properly dissolved. So first 3 mouthfuls just milk and last 2 mouthfuls almost pure chocolate that's way too intense. Nope

Good coffee and vibes Finally tried @apartmentcoffee and I loved both the coffee and vibes at this chill cafe! I had a simple Iced Latte ($6.50) which had strong aromatic notes and it was abit fruity even. Just the right amount of milk, this was an enjoyable cup! The ceramic cup given was also really pretty. I like how they have a good number of art pieces around that added to the chill vibes they provided! Really does make you feel relaxed. This is quite a popular cafe, so do note that they limit dining time to about an hour! This is still good for a short chill conversation with your loved ones, or short pause from your daily activities. Will be back when I'm around in the area!

Chocolate - Uganda Kisinga (Hot - $7.50 + Oat Milk - $0.50)) based on my memories (tastebub), I got citrus with berries and molasses. But their chocolate was not bad even though I opt out for oat milk because sis needChocolate - Uganda Kisinga to eat buffet lol. I preferred to drink something hot before the buffet to calm my nerves first. I did enjoyed their cafe environment to be cosy and minimalist style.
