Good Bites is located at Bishan Sports complex and has great interior and exterior.
Currently they are having this affordable “From S$9.99+ all day set meal” with comes with a mains, starter and drink. Although we didn’t get the set meal, but personally I feel it is worth it.
We got the chicken steak-out and we are astounded by the huge portion of the meat and the tenderness of the meat(I believe it’s chicken thighs). Their Calamari is slightly under seasoned but coated with crispy batter. The sauce could have done better as I couldn’t tell what it was.
We were told that the mushroom soup was made by them and we tried it and we are impressed.
They have friendly staff and boss and the interior is aesthetically pleasing.
Personally I feel that their food (in terms of taste) is slightly above average, but it a great place to visit and have a catch-up meal with your friends and family.
Visit again? Probably.
PS: Do make a reservation(on their website) before visiting to avoid disappointment.
I’m a coffee lover and a social enterprise advocate. This is one of the coffee place I would visit. They have excellent barista who knows their stuff well and the coffee they have are fragrant.
I have need patronising this store since young. I love their noodles and fishball. The owner is so friendly too! worth the visit.
Take note for those big eaters, the portion can be small for you ($3.50 portion).
I have been contemplating to visit this place for over year and finally I managed to head over to this awesome restaurant. Hint: Please make reservation before heading over, if not it will be about half an hour wait.
This place got to be one of the best place to get your chirashi don craving fixed. Love how their sashimi are super fresh and nicely sliced. They have wide variety of chirashi dons most of them are delicious. The price is affordable and worth the “damaged” to your wallet.
The atmosphere is a modernised Japanese theme with nice lighting, It’s recommended to have your date nights and anniversaries here. Take note that It can be noisy during the weekends.
I will definitely visit again.
Ordered the Beef and Salmon pasta and was impressed by their tenderness. As promised, their pastas are cook to al dente and topped with an egg. Overall, it is an delicious healthy meal. I would recommend those who are working around Funan to visit this eatery to have their lunch fix.
Hanuman is located in food alley at Toa Payoh central. If you want to have authentic Thai food, head over to this restaurant. They served authentic and delicious Thai food. Most of their dishes are affordable at only S$9.90.
Their cashew nut chicken is delicious with abundance of onions, cashew nuts and chicken, take note it cooker to a sweet note. The clear tomyum is the one of the highlight, it tangy and spicy, those who can’t take spice, do take note.
Overall I had an enjoyable experience eating here and will definitely visit again.
This is one of the “third wave coffee” house to visit near Bugis area. The coffee beans used are very flavourful and fragrant. Love the ambience and interior but note that there are minimal seating area. Overall, recommend those who work/ study around this area to pop by this coffee house.

The Co-op offers great food. Met my friends for dinner and we ordered various food on the menu. The laksa pasta was fragrant and tasty but slightly salty. The fish & chips is well battered and crispy. Finally we had sambal wings as our side but was pretty disappointed, due to its taste (slightly sweet). Overall a great place and food.
ps: do a reservation early to avoid walk-in disappointment.

Finally, managed to head out (after circuit breaker) to have my first fast food meal. Ordered cheeseburger with cajun fries to satisfy my craving. Honestly, the size of its cheese burger is so huge and its super tasty and juicy. “This burger got standard!” I exclaimed as I gobble down within 10minutes. The cajun fries is cooked with peanut oil and its super hot and its middle spiced. Overall I will definitely visit again.

One of the newest eatery at Funan. Their concept is interesting as they served a mixed of Taiwanese-Japanese rice bowls.
I tried both the beef and teriyaki chicken and I must said I'm pretty impressed with the taste. Both meat were well marinated and the rice was soft and fluffy(jasmine rice). The truffle scrambled eggs(additional side) was pretty solid, with the strong truffle aroma and the smooth scrambled.
Would I recommend? Although the meal looks mediocre, but they really put in effort towards its taste. "Yes", if you are there for a catch-up or takeaway.
Well accessible location(right in front of the bus stop) and nicely decorated interior.
We tried Cheeky beef and Fowl play and my Gosh, both Jaffles are well seasoned and tasty.
I would recommend everyone the cheeky beef as it is well braised and it’s flavourful. Worth every penny I got and I would love to come back for more Jaffles💕
PS: they serve great black and white coffee too!
