It was my second time back here, and I ordered the cheese steak burger. The beef was marinated in a nice sauce, which tasted quite like teriyaki. The bun was soft, and fluffy. Nothing to fault with this dish.

We ordered the soft shell chilli crab pasta and a chicken chop.

Right off the bat, I got to say that the chilli crab sauce was on point. Hence the pasta was good, not too jelak.

Chicken chop was decent as I would expect from a cafe like this.

In all, I would return again even without the Burpple Beyond deal.

We ordered the fried duck and miso salmon dishes along with two cups of latte.

The fried duck tasted good but it was a bit dry and salty; not like the duck confit that I had in mind.

However, the salmon was cooked beautifully and the taste of the sauce was perfect.

Latte was good with a fruity flavour note.

Overall, this is a nice place for brunch cafe food and I will return again even without the Burpple beyond deal.

Probably one of the best truffle wagyu beef don that I have tasted yet.

The cafe was generous with the truffle oil as you could taste it in every spoonful of rice, beef and burst egg yolk.

The portion for a normal small bowl was quite generous as well but I highly recommend that you opt for the large one.

Using the Burpple Beyond deal, each cup per pair was only $2.35. At this price in the CBD area, there is nothing much you can complain about. However, I would have preferred if the coffee flavour note was stronger.
