Good Food and Vibes Went with friends and we tried their mushroom risotto, the smoked duck pasta and andreas’! The risotto was by far my entire group’s favourite, it was creamy, tasty and delicious and it was a good thing it was shared as it can become quite heavy after a while due to the sauce. The pasta was the second best, I enjoyed the texture of the pasta and the sauce was well balanced. Comes with a perfectly runny egg and a good amount of cheese! Just wish there was more of the smoked duck as they were all chopped small and there wasn’t that many. Would personally not order the Andreas’ again though. The first thought on the dish was that it was incredibly salty! It was a stark contrast to the other 2 dishes we got… furthermore there were bits of bone in my sausage which was rather unpleasant to experience while eating. Overall it was still a good experience though it is worth noting that they no longer accept Burpple beyond’s 1 for 1 voucher for brunch/lunch items, only can use the one for mains! They accepted the mains voucher during lunch time even though it’s supposedly meant for 6-9.30pm

One for one brunch! Wanted to try this place and we ordered the Turkish eggs and chicken wraps. Love the food, good Mediterranean food. Service was good too and there was complimentary water. Paid $19.80 for the two dishes which is very reasonable. Will come back again!

Best Cheesecake Ever The cheesecake really lives up to their name. It tastes amazing. One of the best cheesecake I have ever had. I also had their burpple 1-for-1 ribeye. It was a great deal and the ribeye had a unique Chao Ta taste

Duck strips fried rice w preserved veg 24++(used BB) The duck strips have some bite, which works well for the fried rice. This is clearly a well conceived dish, the umami is light but sufficient. The crunch from the asparagus and preserved veggies worked beautifully Execution was good too. Rice grains were well separated and have good bite. A very good fried rice

Seafood duck Pao fan 42++ Theirs uses pig bone and duck broth, very thick and pretty good. Duck was fine and prawns, scallops were both bouncy. Only problem was that it was served incredibly hot. Otherwise it's a good rendition. Also I'm happy to find out that my duck porridge is still superior lol

Dumplings carbonara 22nett The wait was insanely long. 15mins for each dish, and so 30mins total because they only have 1 pan. Lol Dumplings were passable, carbonara sauce was very wrong and there's also pork lard things. Cacophonic, they don't go tgt at all

Mushroom tteokbokki gnocchi 18nett (used BB) Is really tteokbokki in a western-ish mushroom sauce. The balance is terrible, it doesn't taste like anything and despite the chaos there's no strong flavours. Very bad

HK Street Cart Noodles ($17) Please note: This is NOT a 1-for-1 deal, the deal is misleading! The staff told me that it is only $13 off, as they referred to the estimated savings stated as $13 on the deals page - even though it clearly states with the 1-for-1 deal. When I tried to redirect them to the “1-for-1” phrase, they then said that only the lowest price item will be free - on the receipt they actually split the $17 dish into $13+$4. I’ve redeemed hundreds of Burpple deals but have never encountered any merchant referring to that line. I actually ordered two $17 dishes but they only deducted $13. Would be clearer if they renamed their deal to “$13 off” instead, or a fineprint somewhere that it is “up to $13 off”. This deal would only effectively be 1-for-1 if you ordered the congee, which is $13. Food was otherwise alright, definitely very pricey for the small amounts served but I guess we are at an airport after all.

Main (~save $13) Terrace Chinese Kitchen is all about authentic Chinese cuisine! They’re better known for their signature “Che Zai Mian” (cart noodles) and their wide selection of stir-fried appetisers.

Hokkien Mee Their Hokkien mee was legendary and we're glad they kept it after revamp. There are large prawns, chunky roast meat, sotong, garlic sprouts, good-quality lard and superb chilli sauce. One thing that changed: no more beehoon in it.

Wonton Mee Their wanton mee has always looked amazing. There's chashu, onsen egg, fried wantons, milk cabbage. It's sumptuous and the lard was good quality.

Ngoh Hiong This attracted us for its use of crabmeat and Kurobuta pork. But wu xiang being wu xiang, the filling was minced and mixed together. It tasted decent but I couldn't tell what I was eating. The sweet sauce was so nostalgic.

Rigatoni and risotto Tried their signature rigatoni and mushroom risotto. Portions are small and the taste isn’t great. Food was tad salty too. For the price, would say it’s pretty pricey too. But service was good.

Smoked Beef Cheek Ragu ($28)

Signature Rigatoni ($30) consisted of aged brandy cream (sauce) cooked inside, pancetta (salt-cured pork belly meat), mushroom, egg yolk and topped with parmigiano reggiano (cheese). I felt that it's such an atas and great experience for myself and my friend to dine in for restaurant specially for pasta. I did redeemed with burpple 1 for 1 pasta menu. The pasta was not that hard or soft texture (al dente). I did broke egg yolk off and mixed well with the rest of ingredients. After mixing well together, my first few tries were got that strong wine taste initially but slowly got salty aftertaste bc probably of pancetta. I felt a bit jelak towards the end of the meal.

Affordable drinks with delicious Italian faves Came by for post-dinner drinks but couldn't resist trying something off their extensive menu. We got the Pollo pizza ($28) and the Lasagna ($27) to share. The pizza had generous chicken chunks over a delicious tomato sauce base, with the onions and green chilli lending a nice crunch and zing to every bite. However, the lasagna was a clear standout - the excellent tomato sauce was further amplified here, mixed with the meatiness of the beef ragout. We polished this off in no time, and would have licked off the sauce if we could! Happy hour was also great, with our Menabrea tower only costing $59, and if you have Burpple this would be a very value for money dinner and drinks hangout.

Tartufo ($28); Bismark ($30) Love the truffle mushroom pizza! Personally prefer cream >>> tomato based pizza. Crust is thin. 2 pizzas shared by 2 pax.

Great place for drinks and Chinese bbq! [LAVENDER, SINGAPORE] Seeing #burpplebeyond offering 1 for 1 skewers at @ganbeibbq.sg, I wanted to check it out and we left without any regrets! Skewers and food dishes ordered were all really delicious, just abit pricey. Among the many skewers we ordered, my favourites were the beef, enoki bacon and shisamo 😍 all were well seasoned and yet not too salty! The enoki bacon was perhaps the best I've had yet; the enoki within was so juicy and crunchy and the bacon was crispy yet snappy! Skewers were about $2-3 each. The Spicy Drypot Cuttlefish 🦑 ($19.90) we ordered next was so darn addictive due to its spice and that the cuttlefish was SO fresh and snappy. Really satisfying but you will really need a drink to accompany this LOL Service was fast as well and I think it can be worth it with the Burpple Beyond 20 for 20 or 30 for 30 skewers! Will be back!
