Worth the wait and weight!

Mac and cheese was a perfect 10 as usual, the heavenly mix of blue cheese and truffle in cream, torched just enough to form a crusty cheese top.
Lobster benedict was not too bad as well, but the eggs were a tad too cooked. Guess I'll be back to the kurabuta pork instead for the next round.

Kudos to the stall owner for putting such an awesome combo together - yes to maggi goreng, yes to mutton chop and yes yes yes to cheese fries on the side! Super satisfied from the variety and taste of this Indian Muslim buffet on a plate.
It's definitely not a labour day holiday for my stomach; working hard to digest all that goodness.

Food is well.. yummy enough as a home cooked meal but not exactly at the level to be served as a business IMO.
Nonetheless it was nice to see how this cafe was run by a big family with members hustling around the kitchen and tables. Maybe that's why the food is more homely and less commercial. But prices not homely leh. Lol.

The lunch started with a 6-step DIY popiah course, followed by succulent honey roasted pork slices, juicy satay skewers on grill, atas hokkien mee with carabinero prawns and ending off with upmarket goreng pisang! Lovely lunch with lovely people; the year is definitely off to a good start!
