Not worth to come by even w Burpple with many other delicious eateries nearby Calamari in pic— $10 but very tiny amount just size of palm only, not worth the price All oysters, scallop dish and many others weren’t available, that was a disappointment. That’s about half of the menu unavailable… Also ordered some clam spaghetti which was too salty, 8 hr pork belly which was very dry, rough and hard to eat, Mac and cheese badly seasoned and it was very gelat. barely ate everything, a waste of money. Spent $64 there and had a regretful dinner experience.

skip the pho [6.9/10] we had the chicken pho & bun kho sets and topped up a dollar for their homemade drinks (worth! unless you are a soft drink person). the pho was a bit too salty and ordinary - we’d suggest giving it a miss. we enjoyed the bun kho which was flavourful. a small cosy place with a regular flow of customers tho with some annoying flies. would want to try their drip coffee on our next visit.

Beef Noodles Burpple Set ($17.90 1 For 1) The bf had the beef noodles set and it was slightly sweet. I found it a bit odd but he loved it haha. Set comes with Spring rolls too (could choose fresh or fried). We picked the fresh option and it was so good!

Raw Scallop Carpccio Served on a cold plate, the texture and taste is sooooo good. With a bit of truffle on top, the scallop just melts in your mouth. A must try!!!

Sashimi With Burpple Beyond Deal for 1-for-1 sashimi, we had salmon and swordfish sashimi that were served on ice with shredded daikon radish. The slices were fresh and relatively thick for a satisfying mouthfeel.

Chicken Karaage Donburi For lunch, it offers a menu of donburis and cutlets starting from $10. Each main comes with a side of salad, miso soup and rice. The Chicken Karaage Don has bite-sized chicken pieces on top of hot Japanese rice. Each chicken piece was crispy, tender, juicy and flavourfully marinated.

Seafood donburi is really good We tried out the seafood donburi and truffle beef donburi. Both were good, but the seafood donburi was the better of the 2 with the variety of seafood (unagi, seaweed, shrimp, scallop). With the egg on top of the seafood donburi, the entire combination blended very well together. The beef was overall good, just with some bits slightly tougher to chew.

Seafood Donburi In Hotstone Bowl - Yum 🤤 This had a nice umami taste of the seafood mix- scallop, prawn🍤, fish roe, unagi and topped with an onsen egg. Yummilicious! As it is being served in a hotstone bowl, the dish came hot and I love the rice which is fragrantly charred. Highly recommended! 😋

Salted Egg Soft Shell Crab Pasta ($28.90) One of the better salted egg dishes that isn’t overpowering at all, having the chillies and curry leaves balance the taste profiles and adding a kick of spice to it all. The soft shell crab was very crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We used the Burpple 1-for-1 deal here - it’s applicable for the Main Dish section of the menu. Slightly towards the pricier side (fair, considering its location, ambience, and quality of food) however made absolutely affordable with the 1-for-1 deal. The place is well done up contributing to a fantastic ambience, and service was great - staff were very friendly. I can see myself coming back again.

Iced Lychee Tea ($5) Nothing special about this bevvy. It's something you can easily find anywhere, or even prepare by yourself. Although it's still a great alternative for people who don't drink coffee!

Manual Brew ($5) Unique taste which leaves you savouring for more sips. Strong aroma, rather high acidity but goes easy on your taste buds.

A decent cup of coffee in CBD Using the Burpple Beyond deal, each cup per pair was only $2.35. At this price in the CBD area, there is nothing much you can complain about. However, I would have preferred if the coffee flavour note was stronger.

chausson aux pommes (apple turnover) the caramelised pastry was vv nice but i really didn’t like their apple filling as it was quite sour. esp when this is eaten at room temp it just wasn’t enjoyable

pain au chocolate aux amandes loved this! the combination of chocolate and frangipane was heavenly 🤤🤤 i usually stay away from frangipane as the ones i’ve had before were all way too sweet but this one was just nice. it’s definitely still on the sweeter side but i think it’s appropriate for this pastry. i’ve also tried their almond croissant which is also v nice but i prefer this one!

Breakfast Waffle If you like something savoury with waffle, then this will be the dish to order. The waffle was crispy on the outside while soft inside. Scrambled eggs were done perfectly.
