Done right (without cream). Really well seasoned, bacon was savoury, and really creamy too(pretty impressive tbh if theres no cream added). Some places taste nowhere as creamy when they actl add cream lol
Delicious and despite the generous serving, i polished off the bowl quickly
Btw they are on eatigo as well, 40% off most of the time lol
Had the Jaffles that came with the burpple beyond deal, very flavourful and cheesy! The flavours went together very well, and it was crispy on the outside. Great coffee as well
The cakes were yummy! Really thick and full of flavour. Will try the yuzu cake he next time as I heard it’s the famous one!
Small cup 3oz ($4)

This was a Saturday (26 Jan) special flavour

The soya bean ice-cream is good but not that smooth or creamy, rather icy in my opinion... but the addition of dough fritters gives a nice bite and a chewiness texture

Perhaps we weren’t used to the unfamiliar texture but the foamy white mixed with rice and raw minced tuna didn’t work for us. Actually, it looked kinda unappealing after mixing up even before we grappled with the uncomfortable foamy rice.
We ordered an octopus okonomiyaki style omelette which was good but could do with more octopus for the price. The Oyako Don turned out rather disappointing, both in look and taste, lacking in the running scrambled egg we were promised in the menu photo.
The whole menu offered a wide range of egg-oriented items, from starters to mains and desserts. They promised to use the freshest eggs imported directly from Okinawa. However, the dishes we had didn’t seem to do justice to the produce.
I thought I wouldn’t have any more reason to review BUNDT but apparently my numerous rave reviews caught the eye of my friends and one went so far as to order an assorted handful of black cocoa brownies for me, intending to assemble them together as a birthday cake knowing how much I liked their baked goods.
So what happened to the supposed brownie cake? Looks like I wasn’t alone in my previous experience regarding preordering of items.
Then again, if you read BUNDT’s updated Store Policy, a pre-order does not necessarily mean you’ll get your item although the kind people at BUNDT endeavour to fulfill your preorder as best they can. So don’t be disappointed just because you pre-ordered an item and your order was acknowledged.
Despite that, I’ve got good news for you:
1. The Chocolate Chip & Sea Salt Black Cocoa Brownie is flawless. Not too sweet, intensely chocolatey, with a good amount of sea salt granules to provide contrast. I enjoyed the crunch from the baked exterior, chocolate chips, and sea salt which were embedded in a moist, dense brownie. Solid bakes for sure.
2. Burpple reviews are read and noted. So you can be sure the owners are aware when you have feedback, and clearly know whatever you feel about the place. Try to read all their FAQs, Store Policy, How To Order guidelines before attempting to order :)
Molten chocolate oozed from the cookie when the scoop of ice cream was placed on it -- what a sight!! The cookie was served piping hot and was thick and buttery, while the mix of hot chocolate and cold brown butter ice cream was rich and comforting. Definitely should be on every dessert lover's list! Plus it's on Burpple Beyond so it's extra worth it!
Pasta Brava [Main 1/2] ~ $28
Got to be honest, had no idea what this was based on the name the dish. When it came, I thought it was “mee hoon kway” with cream sauce 😂 However, the pasta was good and the cream sauce is really unique! Definitely wouldn’t mind coming back here again!
Burpple 1-for-1 comes with the following:
1) Soup
2) Pasta ($28 and below only)
3) Non-alcoholic drink
Total price paid for entire meal: $55.32
Rating: 3.5/5
mushrooms were flavourful and delicious, pasta was slightly overcooked though, when we were mixing it together, the thin pasta kept breaking apart, sauce was a rich and creamy one, still good but not amazing

Sliced Tajima Wagyu MS7-8 beef cooked to tender. Drizzled at the top with Italian black truffle oil which made it smell soooo good. The runny egg yolk is a must. Topped with spring onion and fried garlic for extra flavours. Served with Niigata rice from Japan

From the new Steakgrill which had opened its doors recently; hidden within the heartlands of Ang Mo Kio at Blk 408, it is located just a stone's throw away from 409 AMK Market and Food Centre, slightly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of AMK Hub and the town centre.
The highlight here would be the beef dishes; offering different cuts of beef, patrons would also be entitled to two of the signature sides for every order — opting for the doneness of medium rare, we picked the Mac & Cheese and Crispy Fries for our order, with Mushroom sauce for our choice of sauce (the other being Black Pepper). Going straight for the meat, the slab of steak was done with a pinkish centre; carrying a balance of leaness and fattiness, the meat was easy to chew without needing much effort in slicing through, whilst not being particularly gamey and well-seasoned with pepper and salt over the top. The mushroom sauce provides a creamy, earthy note with chunks of mushroom to chew on, while the sides were also pretty on point — the Mac & Cheese being a crowd pleaser with the use of nacho cheese-esque cheese sauce that laces the macaroni, yet blanketed with a layer of melted cheese for more flavour and a stretchy texture, while the Crispy Fries reminds me of those usually served at Long John Silvers with some excess batter for an extra crunch. At $22, this may not necessarily be the cheapest steak around, but certainly one that is well-priced for its quality given its location in the heartlands — a convenient location for quality steak at the price point, and a spot that I would not mind picking for satisfying Western in the comfort of aircon, away from the hustle and bustle of crowded town centres and shopping centres alike.
Using the burpple betond, the brunch adds up to be below $30 for the entire meal. Ordered the SAMVO which is smashed avocados, smoked salmon on a sourdough bread and u can choose ur choice of eggs from sunny side up, scrambles of poached. Love the avocados its so creamy. This is quite filling surprisingly. The big breakfast is huge but quite oily since everything is fried
