๐Ÿ‘€ Blue, red, yellow, a puddle of cream white, on a dark grey lead ceramic. Blue food colouring on the rice, cranberry seeds, and cookie structures - all this garnishing is on an island of cut mangoes, beneath which river milk flows.
๐Ÿ‘… I like that the dessert isnโ€™t too sweet, since Iโ€™m cutting down on sugar (was I really?). And you wonโ€™t get jelat/jelak from it.

This fine symphony masterpiece of tender, juicy and well-marinated sous vide medium-rare beef steak ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜‹ confirms the reason of my existence. $17 for seared and sous vide steak is definitely worth the ride to Tampines.
If you love food, live in the east, and havenโ€™t been to this cafรฉ smacked in a CC, maybe you study too much. Apart from its presentable dishes, warm and friendly staff, and affordable prices, this halal joint distinguishes itself from other hipster cafes with masterchef kind of food (just look at that puree) and of course, this steak ๐Ÿ˜‹

Sea-salt caramel ice cream ($3.50): Canโ€™t go wrong with this.
Bask in the strong hipster vibes in this not-so-heavily patronised neighbourhood cafe in Upp Serangoon, conducive for some light Saturday afternoon reading with a glass of iced mocha.
