It's my first time here, and the queue was long. As I approached the stall, I could see how meticulously each bowl of noodle was prepared: noodle was cooked to springy perfection and mixed consistently with the sauce, 3 slices of melt-in-the-mouth charshiu was added, with wanton and fried prawn in crispy noodle followed. It was garnished with chopped scallions and chilli.

The taste was great at first bite; but as I savoured the sumptuous ingredients, I found that the taste was one dimensional: different shades of saltiness. Hence, may I humbly suggest to tweak the taste, whether to introduce scallions with more bite, making use of sweetness or vinaigrette sourness. The noodle needs some unexpected element to accentuate the taste, to create that oomph factor.

Nonetheless, please keep up the good work. Need one more tweak to be elevated to the next level!!

The taste was authentic, and it's value-for-money too. I reckon this is one of the best #vietnameserestaurants in #singapore; as they made simple #springroll #great. Be prepared to queue though. By the way, there are 2 similar restaurants on both sides of Long Phung, and they were completely deserted. Hmm ...

Love this poached egg with avocado on toasted sourdough. Simply yummy.

We all know Ippudo is a ramen establishment. But this pan-seared Gyu steak is really yummy and succulent; the moisture and fat were extremely well retained.

Strongly recommended.

The smashed avocado with poached eggs was simply smashing. The addition of fried mushroom simply made this a filling lunch. Highly recommended.

Love the texture. Love the atmosphere of this hipster's fusion of humble noodle stall and pub grub.

Tasty curry chicken wing, crispy chicken cutlet, fried egg and cabbage, completely drenched in dark stew and curry sauces. Yummy!!

Lovely buttermilk waffle with banana brûlée, berry compote and vanilla ice cream. Ideal for Sunday tea. Yummy.

Imagine: thick yet soft brioche, shallowly browned with egg dip, topped with generous dollop of honey-flavoured mascarpone cream, drizzle of fruit compote and spread of nutty crumble. This is what we had at Ronin. One of the best around!!

I love the freshly made fish paste used abundantly in all stuffed food items. The taste of the been hoon was expertly accentuated by the fried ikan bilis. Yummy.

This venison horfun is really tasty: the venison was lean yet tender, the horfun, well cooked. The gravy was simply yummy. SGD 5 is a steal!
