Umami bomb with a perfect crust, nuff said

I like how this place infused the basmati rice with aromatic fruits such as rasins and orange (yeap), best when paired with the grilled meat. I’d reckon trying the Lamb Chop and mixed mezze platter, good for sharing with a couple friends.

TO DIE FOR... dish costs around $30++ but totally worth the price as I haven’t had such amazing pork chop in Singapore. The fat dissipated in my mouth (almost like wagyu)... and aroma of the char-grilled bits = spectacular.

Strong pick-me-up drink + HAPPY HOUR price + award-winning bar = can’t get any better

I absolutely love crabs, especially those that are grilled and filled with gooey roe.

Sweet, tangy and paired with the house special sambal chilli, this BBQ 🦀’s to die for.

This place is famous for its char siew and BBQ squid too (if you’re not a fan of crab, that is).

While it doesn’t come super cheap, the soup from Empress Place = robust and extremely flavourful. I tried both the dry and soup version, gotta say I prefer the latter. Homemade chilli sauce was spot on and adds the right amount of heat to enhance the flavour of the beef tripe and meat. Definitely a must try if you’re around Siglap.
