This place has been on my list for the longest time and I hate myself for only trying it just recently! Because I have missed out so much?!
Mister went for the Aburi Garlic Salmon and Yuzu Ume Rice ($10.90); which apparently was the flavour of the month! I snatched a biteful and loved the aroma of the garlic 🧄
I went for the Mala Mentaiko Salmon and Chilled Citrus Ramen ($10.90) with a topping of prawn roe (+$1); love the combi of roe with the ramen, it was refreshing with the salmon. Couldn’t really taste much mala but the salmon was definitely fresh & sedap! 😍
Tbh, every item on the menu looks so good, absolutely a must return to try the others!!

Decided to go explore my old neighbourhood a little after chasing episodes of Food King! I have been taking down places in my list and now it has built up substantially🤣
Not a porridge person but chose to try this fried porridge place because it is an unique dish & looks so damn guud! The stall sells not only porridge, there bakuteh too!
We both ordered the pork slice & mixed organs versions ($5) and it was indeed, food king good!! 👍🏻 I simply love the charred slices of goodness in my bowl! The wok hei flavour was locked within every mouthful and you just can’t help going for more 🤤
Luckily we were there earlier before the lunch crowds came!

Prefer the Mille-feuille as there were so many layers to it! 💯

A great brunch accompanied with awesome croissants, and cold brew! I love the yuzu cold brew, which may taste alittle weird at first, but I really do enjoy it after several sips 😍 interesting combination!!

The cruffin I had previously was so bombz I decided to pre-order some more online!! I got the Father’s Day special bundle which features the parallel coffee collab.. black, white and oat.
And this time round, we tried the lychee & matcha version! Still love!! Cruffins ftw!💯

So much goodness in there, salmon, tuna, baby scallop, whelk & yellowtail! And most importantly, the spiciness got kick 🖤

Love how they added the sauce that added punch to the whole dish overall! One of the must-try definitely!!

One of the must-order! The stew was super rich in flavours and chicken made to perfection! Warm comfort for the rainy weather too ♥️

One of the best yet! You could also opted for buffet option if you’re a big eater and group of 3 pax or less. Love the aroma of the sauce accompanied with the fish! With the addition of ingredients that brings the whole dish to a whole new level. Love!!

Surprising find in our bowl of mala today! The luncheon meat was turned into spam fries and our fish fillet turned out fried! Super shiok!! Went for 大辣 but I feel the spice level could go even higher! Still, super bombass, I love it! ♥️

Just the right amount of spice & numbness, a very enjoyable dish l’d say!!! And as usual, portion of seafood were pretty generous. Love it!

Searching high & low for that perfect bowl of dry mee hoon kueh? This definitely hit the mark!!
