I've been here before and have enjoyed their eggs but this time was disappointing. The eggs were far too runny for a poached egg. The toast and avocado were fine though. Regardless this place is great for working with a laptop at - provided you get access to the power point. I haven't tried their other food as their sandwiches are pre prepared so I can't have them without pork.
HIGHLY recommend this dessert!!! The sourdough base means the dough is nice and chewy and tart, which adds a nice dimension to the sweet caramel custard and cooked bananas on top. Enjoyed this almost more than the actual pizza!!!
O.D. has been one of my favourite bars for years now for a good reason - their drinks are so creative and exciting and well made, that they are so well worth the price. Their menu often changes but their classics are well worth trying as well. The staff are super knowledgeable as well and always friendly and happy to chat.
Not one drink on this menu is a disappointment. NOT ONE!!! The detail and level of care that goes into each drink can be seen and tasted and they are definitely under charging per drink. Even their non speciality drinks, such as a highball or old fashioned are beyond ordinary as they take great care to clarify their spirits so that they are extremely crisp and tastier than normal. The strongest drink and one to most likely have pleased Hemmingway himself is the Farewell To Arms cocktail. Not for the faint of heart. 100000000% worth it.
I have high standards for bagels. Luckily these bagels reach it. The only downside is that the bagels are served hot regardless of your filling. So with my smoked salmon and cream cheese the bagel was hot and so it tasted a bit weird with the cold fillings. The lemonade was really tart and exactly what I expect for a lemonade!
The pizza dough itself is the star here. It tastes so good and chewy that I didn't even mind the lack of cheese on the plain cheese pizza!! The tomato sauce is a bit on the sweet side but it evens out with the tart of the sourdough itself. I also highly recommend the banoffee dessert pizza as that is something completely different and super tasty!!
Stick to their burritos. The quesadilla is not a quesadilla!!! It's just a squished burrito without rice... It still tastes good and the ingredients are great but... it's just.. NOT a quesadilla. I was expecting something with more cheese and that wasn't too heavy. Left me wishing I got a burrito instead. :(
This was so filling oh my gosh.. I couldn't finish it myself!! It was really good though - nice and fluffy pancakes and the chocolate chunks were not too sweet and even placed in between the pancakes!! Next time I'm sharing this.
Finally got around to trying their cookie dough and I am sad it only took me so long. It was so good I instantly bought a take away tub I'm the spot!!! My mum, sister and I would often eat cookie dough as we made actual cookies, but I'm pretty sure eating the dough was always our favourite part. This dough is so much like actual cookie dough I have to remind myself that I can eat more if I want to!!!!
I couldn't believe that everything we ordered had no animal product!!! It was amazing and so filling!! My sister was not a fan of the konjac sashimi however our vegetarian friend didn't mind it. Worth coming here even for meat eaters!!!
The only thing worth coming to this place for is the ice cream!!! The drinks are all mediocre and over priced. But the ice cream was worth it. You also get to choose up to 3 toppings for free of you do a build your own!! The marshmallows and mochi are so soft and tasty.
I got the passionfruit and seasalt mix and it was SUCH a good mix of salty and sweet. So soft and creamy also!! I will deffo get this again.
