Black Forest Cake (9 inch cake - $108) We did research via online for birthday cake within 1 month before taking reservation via call or email which the person have requested personally for old fashioned design type for cake but not into modern design type for cake. tbh I felt that cake size was quite big and also can accomodated around 12 to 16 people for serving size. The taste for cake was quite sweet, creamy and bitter but then at least they put some brandied (brandy flavour) cherries in between the cream taste like not that sweet. I felt that it was quite jelak for me when I eat the slice finish. I personally don't like shaved chocolate on the surface of the cake and made everything to be messed it up and a lot of stains on the cake box.

Grandma’s Roast It was as delicious as it was pre-covid at Telok Ayer shop. Now it’s Digital kitchen and there are just a few seats outside along the perimeter of the building. Can be warm in our sunny Sg! Service was pretty fast and your tray of order is placed on array in a small cubical box for you to self-collect.

Chicken Cutlet with Swiss Raclette Cheese Last hurrah with them before closure. Unfortunately this signature did not live up to its reputation. I thought three slabs of meat and special cheese justified the higher price, but they're small and simple, and the latter only offered visuals, nothing for the taste. Worse, the baby potatoes were lousy and the house braised sauce was negligible.

Crab Roll Last hurrah with them before closure. This signature was really good. The sensational crabmeat paired with fragrant croissant. The truffle shoestring fries were also superb.

Salted egg yolk chicken burger Salted egg yolk chicken burger came with two (!!) pieces of juicy chicken cutlet and a generous serving of creamy salted egg yolk sauce. Also had the slightly sweet taste of the Tze char oats that paired well with it. Delightful!

Fantastic Meat They've got a promotion going on their website itself so I didn't use beyond for this. Skip the Deluxe buffet and go straight for Premium. For 75 per person (inclusive of gst and all), I thought the meal was really worth it. The meats were beautifully marbled and melted in your mouth. We couldn't help but get more orders of both the kurobuta karubi and wagyu karubi. Highly recommend getting their tonkotsu soup for your hotpot too, it's lovely and sweet.

1 For 1 Burpple Beyond This set was $22.90 but with 1 for 1 it was quite reasonable. Honestly, was expecting more quality for the food but it was average at best. The rice did not look like Japanese rice, I think they used jasmine rice instead. However, the unagi was quite good but I’ve tasted better before. I liked the sashimi! However, portions were quite small and the chicken in the chawanmushi was pink and I did not dare to eat it. Overall, it was quite okay, would not go back there again if I were craving Japanese, could probably get cheaper and better quality food elsewhere. Food: 6.5/10

Colleague ordered angus beef ribeye and kombu truffle butter as the choice of sauce.
