Mala Grilled Fish We ordered the patin fish to be served mala style (as recommended by the friendly waitress). The fish was fairly huge, the meat was flaky and succulent with a good bite to it as all fresh fish do. This also came with beancurd skin, cabbage and some sprouts. The flavour profile of the dish was complemented by the distinct char grilled taste of the fish skin. This was on promotion and the total cost about $50 after gst and service charge. Rating: 8.1/10 Do note that the spiciness level is fixed as the establishment purportedly wants its patrons to experience the authentic flavour profile (the phrase used was 原味). That said, one need not be scared by how red this dish turned out as the spice level was at a pleasant and tolerable level - for someone who generally orders 小辣 for mala xiangguo . The staff were friendly and service was prompt too. Will most definitely recommend this place.

Go to place for Frozen Yuzu Beer! Great frozen beer - thick layer of foam was almost like an ice-blend consistency. Happy hour promo of $26 for 2 glasses was pretty worth it. Yuzu recommended, lychee was quite strange. Skewers wise, we ordered the Set of 8 for $15 which was quite worth it and we were very satisfied with the taste. Pork Belly, pork ribs, chicken wings, potato slices were all good. Added on the Foil-wrapped enoki ($6.90) and we loved the garlic topping.

Mischief🍻 Went to Mischief at the end of Jan and tried their Classic Burger ($23), BBQ Spiced Chicken ($26), and Truffle Mushroom Linguine ($26)!😇 Food was a little pricey but portions were huge!! Good for sharing😁 Burger wasn't great tho... Overall ratings 8/10! Would head back for drinks and try out other food menu items🤤

While the eggplant “toast” was outshone by the other tapas, they were comfortingly oily; think straightforward thin slices of the purple fruit with savoury cheese melted atop. LYCHEE OOLONG tried their Lychee Oolong💗 which is their new flavor. Both lychee and oolong is more of an after taste which i think they used lychee oolong tea to make the creme 🤔

CHICKEN BACON PIE Their Chicken Bacon Pie surprised me by how good it is💯 It’s meaty inside with cookie crust outside💗 served with salad as well 😋

earl grey waffle

Waffles and ice cream ($21.50) ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) BB discount is only on the waffle, and not the ice cream or toppings. So total cost of 2 waffles came up to $21.50. That said, the waffle is quite delightful, fluffy with a buttery fragrance. But inconsistent, as our second waffle was noticeably denser than the first. Ice cream was mid. Pistachio flavour was very subtle and earl grey was better, but both are overall more sugary than creamy.

Ice Cream Waffle Seemed like a popular place. I can't fault the food but I'm not a fan of mochi waffle so I've mixed feelings.

Coffee one for one Been wanting to try this place and was in the vicinity. Price is good with burpple but you get a weak or milder coffee. Taste of coffee is really weak but I guess good enough for a post lunch pick me up.

a slightly below average cup of coffee was quite hard to find as there was no unit 114 but it's this shop that says 112-116. the coffee was kinda disappointing, esp the hot expresso we ordered - taste of coffee was sooo mild it was almost like hot milk. the latte was as mid as it gets without much coffee fragrance or milkiness. wouldn't come back again even with burpple beyond. service was rly good though!
