We love this confectionery for its light, sweet treats and floor-to-ceiling marble interiors, but it's the amazing Lady M Green Tea Mille Crepes ($115.55 for 9-inch cake, $9.65 a slice) that you must come for. Dusted with pleasantly bitter matcha powder, each of the 20 delicate layers in the crepe cake is separated by a thin spread of the lightest pastry cream. Magically, the thin-as-paper crepes aren't soggy when you spoon through the cake. Come by to pick up a 9-inch cake for your girlfriend's birthday, or perhaps drop by for a few slices at the sprawling two-storey outlet in Orchard Central for a tΓͺte-Γ -tΓͺte over dainty desserts. Also share the Gateau Nuage ($9.10 a slice) otherwise known as "cloud cake" β an airy whipped cheesecake with a cinnamon graham cracker crust topped with a sweetened sour cream for a silky finish.
*9-inch cakes have to be ordered three days in advance

Favourite place for post climb. Coffee and chocolate. What's not to love. π
I've always been a wanton mee lover since I was a kid. Decided to pop by for some wanton mee to see all the hype (or past hype, I am slow with trends). Springy and tasteful egg noodles with you ts of crispy pork lard definitely create a fine balance of texture, and the flavour of the noodles are just right! I preferred the boiled wanton as compared to the fried one, the taste of pork and spices were more flavourful. Would come back for more βΊ
The Poke Bowl wiped away all my guilt after my sinful indulgences of the other dishes. I particularly found the salmon fresh, and cashews highly addictive. Enjoyed the fact that the crowd on a weekday afternoon was light too!
I remember this place being a cozy nook to read and chill out. Ordered this while waiting for a friend because I don't want to get caffeinated. Frothy and creamy and chocolatey!

Our Special Tendon ($13.90)! The deep fried veggies were naturally fragrant. So fresh were the long beans, mushroom, melon, lady's finger and baby corn. Pick them apart and there it is! You uncover that tempura half-boiled egg. Break that fragile blob to let it run over your bed of pearly white grains. If the chef's generous drizzling of sweet savoury over your rice and and again over your crisp isn't enough, there's a bottle of tendon sauce, chilli powder and sansyo for you to help yourself. I sure did. It's such umami goodness. The ebi prawns are succulent fresh; the moist chicken breasts are tender as fish. The latter could use seasoning though. The batter is light, using only Japanese flour, allowing the natural flavours to come through. It's not a greasy meal despite all the deep frying. Can't wait to try the Veggie Tendon ($12.90) next time!

Late for yoga so I got booted out...and here I am, with grapefruit juice in hand, chilling out with myself and a read. The happiness project if anyone is curious. Life.
Yes it's vegetarian but no you wouldn't be missing the meat in this one! Well if you do, there's also the pulled pork ones available. More on their dinner offerings on www.ms-skinnyfat.com Active link in bio.

Salad with a tangy citrusy sauce and bits of smoked salmon, cranberries, raisins and a huge chunk of avocado. Really filling and nice!
