Hometown Tofu with Minced Pork Fried silky tofu paired with spicy and savory sauce with crispy onions over the top. Really nice bite but I think the sauce is a little to bland for my liking.

Spicy Hometown Fried Fish Belly The sauce is amazing! The fish texture is firm and it’s perfect when fried. It’s a little fishy but I think it’s still acceptable even for people who don’t like fish. Solid!

Always enjoy myself some hitsumabushi And the 3 ways to eat it. Love it with the broth. It's v well grilled here, charred at the right places and crispy. Queue is long on a Friday night. Waited at least 45min. (~$25 per pax)

Good unagi hitsumabushi Kaisen hitsumabushi @ $18.80++ It's quite difficult to go wrong with unagi don so i would say this is quite average. Pricing was alright but would have preferred a bit more unagi and sashimi. The sashimi was alright though I wouldn't say it's super fresh.

Kaisen Hitsumabushi ($18.80)  One my favourites is kaisendon and this combines both by having unagi and sashimi. The unagi was char-grilled beautifully and have a nice crisp texture with a tinge of sweetness from the sauce. The hitsumabushi can be enjoyed 3 ways - start with savouring its original taste, follow by complementing it with condiments; and lastly, add dashi and transform it into an ochazuke fare. A nice comforting and warm meal overall.

Stamina Tendon From Tempura Makino Satisfying portion of chicken fillet, pork collar, maitake mushrooms, butternut pumpkin, eggplant, french bean and egg. Served on fluffy Japanese rice with tempura sauce. Side served miso soup and appetiser of the day. Listed $19.00.

TEMPURA SWEET POTATO W HOUJICHA GELATO For dessert, sticking to the theme, they are tempura-ed as well💗 the strawberry mochi is 💯 and for sweet potato lovers - say yes to it being paired with houjicha - fried and roasted taste 👅

MAKINO COLD TOFU The Makino Cold Tofu ($5.90) is even better than my last visit💯‼️ highly recommended - the unami broth is so addictive with the soft tofu 😍 needed one plate for myself 🫢

Best Lamian in Town So far Paradise’s lamian never disappointed me. The lamian is chewy, topped with slice pork, steamed bokchoy, mushroom and brown egg. The best part is the soup, which is the light yet rich in flavour tonkotsu broth. It feels light and satisfying after eating this Chinese delicacy

Premium Ramen Premium Ramen ($15.90) got milky and not salty broth for me tbh but the ramen was kinda normal and not much unique. But the tonkatsu kinda tough texture and not that chewy type. so its kinda a bit missed tbh. I did topped up for 2 bucks for egg so its quite nice and not that bad.

Tomato Gyoza ($9.50) But it's a bit slightly oily aftertaste tbh as it still acceptable for me. But the cheese taste very strong compared to tomato sauce tbh.

Okonomiyaki Gyoza ($7.50) high recommended frm Kiwami as my friend he wanted to order since it's gyoza bar. But it's a bit slightly oily aftertaste tbh as it still acceptable for me.

toman Fish Soup 14nett Swopped prawns for meat patty The broth is a cheat lol, it's good but it's closer to tonkotsu in both flavour and texture rather than those clean seafood soups. Ofc it's gonna be satisfying haha Toman was tender but I guess I just don't like the texture of this fish. They have 2 kinds of meat products, one is meatloaf cut into strips which has amazing flavour probably from fried fish bones, the other is the meat patty which was bouncy but not otherwise too special. Though I asked for them to swop prawns for meat patty, I have no idea if the two patties are more than usual or the strips are more than usual lol. Nonetheless this place is pretty solid. The price is well justified by the thickness of the soup and the amount of ingredients(ofc the freshness too)

Pumpkin Rice 2nett Damn this was good. Light and mildly savoury from the small prawns, with nice pieces of pumpkin for sweetness. It's the opposite of those that appear v yellow but there's no flavour at all

Herbal soup with braised pork rib ($13.90) Always come back for this comforting bowl of herbal creamy pork broth $8 nett per bowl after using burpple beyond! Really worth it considering how even food courts charge around this price nowadays.

Tomato Soup Braised Beef Noodle Tomato soup was sweet and savoury. The braised beef was also very flavourful. Noodles are on the softer side but still enjoyable. Worth with burpple 1 for 1

Tasty noodles Great 1-1 deal on all maibs. Sichuan vegetable base and Herbal bone broth is nice. Nice hearty and filling meal. Will come back! Staff was also nice to intro the menu and clarify my questions about Burrple Deal.

· 🐮 Beef Don at Sen-Ryo 。... ~ · Australian Wagyu Don - $18.80 · Walk-in to Sen-Ryo during weekend is tough, as the restaurant is popular for its delicious Japanese cuisines, thus online booking is recommended. I tried the wagyu beef don, and added sen-ryo Tamagoyaki ($2.50). Beef strips are flavourful and tender, the don could use more sauce, luckily the runny egg helped.
