[$3.90] Matcha Hokkaido Ice Cream Puff
Pretty amazing deal! For only $3.90, this is really worth it! The serving is generous with a large scoop of ice cream and the matcha ice cream was not too bad either but not the best that I've tasted. First bite into the ice cream, you can really taste the strong and empowering matcha taste but it does fade a little as you continue. And the outer crust is really amazing, it's sweet, crumbly and slightly crispy which goes extremely well with the ice cream! They've also got other flavours and a few premium ones that cost a little more. Definitely a must try!
[$12] Raclette Set
First ever visit to the Ramadan Bazaar and I've totally fallen in love with the bustling atmosphere there! This place is full of life; from the extravagant light displays to the all the instagrammable food items, you're bound to expect lots of wonders there.
Personally, I've tried one of the hotshots there which is the Raclette Cheese with baby potatoes and hotdogs. It's definitely up to expectations! The cheese, airflown from France, made the whole dish extra creamy and full of texture. It goes really well with the potatoes and hotdogs. With the garlic topped on it, it just brings out all the flavours. Overall, a really good and satisfying dish!
[$7.50] A very popular lunch date location among youngsters but I didn't know that they actually serve pretty awesome desserts as well! With just $7.50, the waffle comes with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with some raspberry jam and sprinkled with the fruit itself. It's a pretty good catch for some quick and delicious waffles!
[$5.50] At the corner of the Commerze is a simple and quiet cafe called the La Teh Cafe. It serves a huge variety of meals and we've tried the kimchi fried rice and kimchi ramen, both at $5.50 each. They come without any meat but you can add $1 for some and 90Β’ for a cup of drink. The kimchi ramen was too hot and spicy to my liking but the fried rice was not too bad. It's definitely a good catch for some simple and quick Korean cuisines to satisfy your cravings. π
[$16.90] How can a dessert look so prettyπ Sugar Lips serves really pretty cakes and waffles. The staff there are also very friendly, they took time to explain all their ongoing promotions to us. The interior design of this place is also very amazing, with splashes of colours here and there, making the place looking so colourful! All their plating are unique, it may look messy but it's actually really beautiful with all that colours and details!
You can choose a main dessert, rainbow cake, charcoal waffle ect. And choose whether you would like 2 or 3 toppings. With 2 toppings it's $14.90 while with 3 toppings it's $16.90.
[$13.90] Decided to give the Bingsus here another chance and this time it's the Choco Banana Bingsu! Personally I prefer this one more compared to the Oreo one. It has a lot more flavour to it and it looks so much better! Still the same, the base is just ice but with a greater variety of toppings this time.
[$12.90] This is a very pretty dessert called the Bubble Waffle due to how it looks. It's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, it comes with a single scoop of quality vallina ice cream and various toppings, including fruits such as bananas and strawberries, cereals, nuts, marshmallows, chocolate syrup and more. Overall, I think this is a very successful dessert, it's visually appealing and taste really good too. It's not too sweet and all the ingredients blend really well together. Plus, the staff there are really friendly and helpful π
[$5] Tried the Milo Snow Ice and Yoghurt Snow Ice here. It was pretty average and I prefered the Milo one more. The Milo Snow Ice was sweeter while the yoghurt one taste slightly artificial. They don't have much toppings but they do give decent amount of ice. It's a not too bad choice on a hot day. β
[$5] Still can't believe Pizza Hut actually have such cheap lunch deals for students! Only for five bucks, you get to choose a main course from the selected few and a cup of free flow drinks! This deal is only available during weekdays from 1.30pm to 5pm. Plus, the staff at this outlet are super friendly and it's located in the corner of the neighborhood, extremely quiet and spacious! Definitely a great place for a small gathering among friends!
[$12.90] Technically, this was the first bowl of Bingsu I've had. It was a big talk in town some time ago and I've always wanted to give it a shot. But honestly, it was a disappointment, I had much higher hopes. The base is just full of ice and doesn't even taste that good. Maybe it will taste better in Korea? I don't know, but definitely not in SG. However aesthetically, it still looks all pretty and fulfilling! And they do give a generous amount of Oreo crust!
[$10.95] 3Piece Chicken Drumstick
[$8.95] Drumstick Rice Box
Finally getting my hands on these Korean drumsticks! It was as good as I've expected, especially with a layer of special sauce which made the chicken extra juicy and flavour-full! Their fried chickens are really different from the typical fried chickens in Singapore. Definitely worth a try! ππ
[$7.90] Didn't grow up with Mini Melts so it's my first time trying this really cute and pretty ice cream. Really like that their ice creams are in these tiny ball shapes which are really unique, plus there are tons of cool flavours to choose from! π
The only negative side is that they're a bit overpriced π
