Treated myself with the 1 for 1 (M size) Chicken Hot Pot which comes in different flavours (in picture: Mushroom and Hot & Spicy) you can choose from. The serving for one pot is almost more than enough for 3 people, so having 2 pots was actually an overkill. It wasn’t too salty nor oily, so it was actually quite nice. 👍🏼 Will definitely be back to try their skewers!
I purposely bought a drink that comes in their bottles, so my choice of the day was Jasmine Green Tea with Plum Jello. It was satisfying for a scorching hot day, but nothing special. The interior of the shop is cute though
Quite a big serving of salad, with more than 5 ingredients in every order - which is a steal! The only downside is they use packet dressings. You can top up $4 to add on a protein option.
Too many flavours to choose from, and their staff are very welcoming and helpful! I would recommend 1) Granny’s Favourite and 2) Salted Egg Yolk!
Lucky to have Burpple 1 for 1 deal because without it, this cafe is quite $$$. Redeemed the tea + cake set, and it still total to $16. On the upside, the cakes are moist and tasty! Also, it’s quite a cosy cafe for you to do your work on a weekday afternoon!
A lot of options for Nasi Lemak and Nasi Sambel Goreng orders, but their ingredients are cold. However, their sambal was definitely 10/10!
Highly recommend the Prawn & Seaweed aglio olio - the portion is quite generous and it’s quite tasty. I also ordered the mushroom truffle pizza - the truffle taste is not overpowering which I liked. Burpple 1 For 1 is only applicable for Asian, Pasta and Pizzas!
A taste of authentic Thai now that we can’t travel over for some wanton mee - ordered the large bowl with the black sauce and it was better than what I had anticipated 👍🏼 the luncheon meat fries was quite tasty too!
The duck cassoulet was surprisingly delicious! I’m not a big fan of duck, but the meat was tender and flavourful. The truffle eggs prosciutto was a generous plate, but I couldn’t really taste the truffle. Overall, it was a good experience with the staff being very friendly and accommodating!
Chanced upon this small gelato shop and was nicely surprised that it was quite yummy. Chrysanthemum Oolong is definitely a must try!
As you can see from the flood of reviews that this 1 for 1 mixed grill is SUPER WORTH IT. The pork wasn’t dry for me, and the sauces provided compliment the entire plate. Highly recommended!
Perfect portion, the unagi was very soft and tender. Highly recommended using the 1 for 1! The oysters are not on Burpple 1 For 1, but I suggest to order them still - I had 2 rounds of the oyster because they were very fresh and huge!! Very satisfying!
