poached eggs, spinach, portobello mushrooms and sunflower seed toast for $18. i thought it was pretty tasty; i especially loved the toast and the spinach! the mushrooms felt a little bit salty and my tongue feels itchy now... msg maybe? my friend got the banana bacon french toast and i loved the fluffiness of the toast!! will b back to try the french toast :)

$1.60 for each roll! looks kind of empty in this picture but it tasted great! the lack of turnip was compensated by the crunchy bits. i forgot that i added chilli and i only tasted it when it went down my throat and wow it rly woke me up. only gripe i have w this stall is that they didn't cut my popiah properly so when i was trying to eat it, some of the fillings spilled out zzz. but other than that, i rly liked it!!

was so excited to try this and i wasn't disappointed! there are many ingredients to pick from, starting from $0.60. do try the fish paste youtiao and fried pumpkin!!! i really loved the fried pumpkin heh they managed to keep the batter crispy while the inside was still smooth and soft. i felt the black bean sauce didn't really go well w the chee cheong fun... maybe i'm too used to eating chee cheong fun w sweet sauce so i asked the aunty for some and everything was good once again. but having said that, the black bean sauce is pretty great still! you can try it w the noodles. i saw that they give a lot of noodles!! will definitely be back to try their laksa and other noodles.

not sure if people normally use "fresh" to describe popiah but this popiah sure tasted that way. after the first piece, i felt all warm and fuzzy, and i'm not referring to the heat from the seemingly innocent chilli!! popiah was rly soft tho i would have preferred if there were more peanuts to give it a crunch.

thai-style cai fan for $5! u can choose red rice/white rice/mixed rice/noodles/veggie(?), one main (basil pork/chicken/beef/fish/seafood, two sides (sunny side-up/scrambled egg/spinach/morning glory). i can't remember all the options but they offer a decent variety. i chose red rice, basil chicken, scrambled egg and spinach w curry and it was pretty tasty :) the coconut in the curry made it v fragrant, the portions were generous (im still having food coma three hours later lol). best thing was, the owner was v friendly despite it being lunchtime. everyone knows how hectic the lunch period can be and im just rly appreciative that the owner still provided great service, on top of good food :)

for $15, the super balanced meal is rly worth it!!! got soba noodles + salmon (additional $2) + rocket + furikake + onsen egg + mushrooms and my friend ordered multigrain rice + chicken + mushrooms + cucumber + chicken floss and im not sure what the last item was oops. was super pleased w mine!! i think everything when well together except for the rocket leaves which taste was slightly out of place tho still good. suggestion: the egg would have been better if it was sous vide bc the yolk didn't rly flow for mine so it was a bit lacking in taste. rly loved the mushrooms they were so well marinated!! tried my friend's chicken and they were soft and tasted like your steamed chicken from your chicken rice. they were pretty generous with their portions and i would definitely go back often if the price stays at $15 (bc apparently it used to be $21)!

came w two free toppings (banana cacao and passionfruit mango spirulina) bc we used some app to order. overall taste was v gr8 and worth the price tho i feel like the acai taste got overshadowed by the cookie butter but im not complaining bc they gave a lot of cookie butter and i love cookie butter hehe. one of my top choices for acai bowls!!

love!! this!! place!! you've got to try their pancakes!! rly yummy and crispy. they have many different flavours and my fav combi is the peanut and cheese ($1.60) bc it's sweet and salty simultaneously ahhh. the chicken patty + egg + cheese ($3) was interesting and would make a good breakfast choice.

the place was super pretty w it's low ceilings and tatami style decor!!!!! got both the rich and clear soup and i preferred the clear soup! was less overpowering and i could taste the duck. and do add the yuzu in! the taste is rly strong and refreshing, shifting the focus away from the saltiness of the soup. the other dishes looked good too haha i'll probably go back to try them.

only decided to go there bc of the promo ($11.90) and it was so worth it!!! there were so many slices of beef (but im not complaining) and the rice+egg+beef combo was sick!! tbh i didn't rly love the cognac but it didn't ruin the dish i guess. actly even without the promo, its original price of $23.90 (i think) is legit q reasonable, considering the good quality beef and ambience and all. we also got some salmon thing for sides and it was v underwhelming lol not worth the price just get the rice bowls!!
