A nice humble ice cream cafe in the west (yesss) that serves a pretty good selection of flavours. The lychee sorbet, refreshing in the intense heat, was denser than the normal/icy sorbet. The buttermilk waffle was sweet but it could have been more crispy on the outside, and fluffier on the inside. 7/10, would return.
Creamy, tangy, al dente linguine and slices of mushroom. Not a fan of onions, didn't realise it was cooked with it. It was an all right dish but not for the price of $18.
I love salted egg, but was never a fan of sesame. Feeling a bit like trying new stuff, I ordered it and it wasn't bad! It was actually quite dense but still quite dry. The taste of the sesame wasn't overpowering (phew). Also, see that special blue sparkling magical potion? That's Unicorn Tears. If only it tasted as magical as it looks.
The rose lychee sorbet was refreshing, exactly what I needed in the blistering afternoon. I do wish the rose flavour was stronger in the waffles. But I will definitely be coming back because just where do you find a place that serves rose waffles with rose lychee sorbet in SG?! You can customise your waffles too, they have other interesting flavours like Earl Grey.
It's a really small eatery with about 12-14 seats? But it was worth the wait for this $12.80 worth of fresh, chunky goodness. Serving is small for big eaters but that doesn't mean they skim on the sashimi!
