We ordered the Bismark ($25, as pictured here) and the Zazz Pizza ($28) for 3 to share. Their pizzas here are wood fired which gives it a very nice burnt taste. 🍕Both pizzas were really delicious but I personally preferred the Bismark more. The portion is also big enough for sharing and they were very generous with the toppings 👍🏻
The cafe is also situated in a nice little corner just opposite the Rochor beancurd making it a very nice place to chill and catch up with friends.
We ordered the strawberry and mixed berry pancakes ($14.40 for 4 layers). The pancakes were really very good and they were very generous with the cream filling!!! Really enjoyed every bite of it ☺️
Would recommend getting the 4 layers one cos it’s just a $3 top up from the 2 layer one which looked quite sad HAHAHA. It is also very filling so would highly recommend sharing it with someone. We also ordered their royal milk tea which was sadly not to our liking... but overall would recommend trying out this place and the cafe has very nice cosy setting for people to catch up with each other 👍🏻
Was recommended by the hotel to go to this Seafood restaurant while we were at Port Dickson (Malaysia) and we ordered this Salted Egg crab!!
AND THIS WAS SO SO SO DELICIOUS!!! 😍 the sauce was done perfectly and the crab meet was so chewy. Absolutely loved it. Can’t remember exactly how much it cost but definitely cheaper than the seafood here in Singapore.
BUT be prepared to wait really really long. We waited around 1h+ after ordering 😪
We ordered the Kei Kaisendon Burpple beyond set ($30.90 for 2 sets) which comes with a main, green tea, a bowl of salad and chicken wings for the sides.
We got the Salmon Mentaiko Don as pictured. The bowl looked quite small when it came but looks are deceiving as it is definitively very filling and they are very generous with their sashimi!!! Overall really enjoyed the main dish and the sashimi was very fresh 👍🏻☺️
There were free flow boiled eggs at the side as well but the 2 that we chose were not well cooked so we gave that a miss.
I’ve been wanting to try this for a very long time and it really satisfied the cravings I’ve been having for so long ☺️ I ordered the Omurice combo ($12.90) which comes with a choice of spaghetti and side. The egg was done very well and the meal was really very satisfying.
One of my favourite parts of this place is the free flow beansprouts!!! 😍 overall would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back again!
Instead of the outlet at Jewel, we went to their other outlet at Raffles Hotel (but couldn’t find it on the location tag!!) The Raffles Hotel outlet accepts reservations so you won’t have to queue!
We ordered their original lobster ($65), lobster roll ($40) as well as the rosti.
I really loved the sauce that came with the lobster and lobster roll!! It had a very unique taste which really enhanced the taste of the lobster. Their service was good and the very relaxing ambience makes it a great place to hang out. Overall really enjoyed this meal very much ☺️ even though it’s slightly pricey, I would say it was worth it! 👍🏻 however I would probably give the rosti a miss and order something else instead!!
We ordered 2 of their crazy shakes to try, the Cake shake ($22) and the Churro choco taco shake which is only on their menu for a limited period of time.
Both shakes were really huge and came with a lot of toppings so you gotta prepare yourself for some sugar overload!! I didn’t really like the Churro shake because the Churros were soggy when we ate them and I’m not really a fan of the cinnamon taste. But the cake shake was quite good!! 👍🏻
Ps would recommend coming in the day if you want to get a nice picture of your shakes because the lighting here at night is not very good for photos.
We ordered 3 burgers, a salad and wings for 6 of us to share so that we can try out the milkshakes later for desert. We ordered the All American burger ($22), The Cantonese BBQ burger ($24) and the The Greg norman burger ($26).
The burgers all come with fries as a side but you can top up to change it to other sides like onion rings or sweet potato fries. Their sweet potato fries are really very good!! 👍🏻
My favourite burger has to be the Cantonese BBQ burger because the sauces blend together very nicely and it has a very unique taste that is unlike your ordinary burgers ☺️ I really loved the buttermilk-dill dressing that came with the Spicy Korean BBQ wings ($13 for 10 pieces) also! The Greg Norman burger comes with blue cheese inside and it takes a while to get used to the blue cheese taste so it might not be suitable for everyone’s palette!
Overall enjoyed the meal and the ambience but a bit too pricey so I will probably reserve this place for special occasions 🤗 the servings are quite big too so I would recommend sharing so that you can leave some space for desserts too!!
We ordered the classic brown sugar deerioca fresh milk ($5.30). They advised to drink from the bottom of the cup first before mixing so as to enjoy the pearls and I highly recommend that so that you can enjoy the warm and soft pearls. The pearls were very soft and chewy and this is my favorite brown sugar fresh milk!! 🥰
But it is really quite expensive for a small cup so I probably wouldn’t get it often.
We ordered 5 lunch sets and use the Burpple one for one deal 👍🏻 their lunch set is $16 and includes a bowl of ramen, a plate of 4 dumplings and a drink which is v worth it even without the Burpple deal.
We ordered 3 different dumpling flavors to try: fried pierogi, original and the veggie mandu. My favourite has to be the fried pierogi cos it has cheese inside!!! 🥰 The original and veggie mandu were good too but were not as special as the pierogi.
Drinks wise I ordered the salted plum wolfberry pu-erh, which I love cos I’m a big fan of salted plum drinks. I loved how they added the wolfberries to add a tinge of sweetness and health to the drink 💪🏼
Overall really enjoyed the meal and would go back for the lunch set even without the one for one deal ☺️
I ordered the pulled pork and avocado eggs benedict ($16) as pictured here. The portion looks small here from the picture but trust me it is very very filling and you would definitely feel satisfied at the end 👍🏻 I loved the hollandaise sauce that they used and everything blended well together!! We also got the nacho cheese fries ($9) and honey paprika crispy wings ($10) which were delicious as well. Highly recommend this place for a nice brunch to chill and catch up with friends ☺️
This laksa is really good and a MUST TRY if you go to Malacca!! The shop is called Jonker 88 and located along Jonker street. We originally went there to try their cendol (which they are famous for) but chanced upon their laksa so we decided to give it a try.
The soup is very flavorful and the right amount of spice 👍🏻 their portions are huge as well so I would recommend sharing so that you have space for more food along the street ☺️
The queue was very long but they were very fast so we did not have to wait long. The stall is also quite small so there are not many seats available. But still highly highly recommend trying!!
