Never Again.. Went around 8pm and there’s only 3 flavours of icecream left with only 2 scoops per flavour left. Try to see the picture’s background. All the flavours are deemed as premium flavour, and cost $5.50. We had the Burpple 1 for 1, so we got the last scoop of mango ice cream and a pistachio ice cream. Wanted to have it on a cone, though the cone looks like it’s from NTUC, a top up of $1/ icecream is required. Hence, we went with the cup. Took the first bite of ice cream, it was icy, like Popsical mixed with cream, frozen and hardened up. Wonder how long has the icecream been left on the shelf?? Won’t be coming back again...

Confusing Bingsu Icecream I thought it was smooth ice cream but it turned out to be Bingsu instead. Full of icy bits. Flavours tasted mild.

Waffle wif pandan Gelato @$8.80 The irony of Having a sinful snack at a place called Shrove Tuesday; dawned on me. Shrove Tuesday is a the day that Catholics and some Christians know, as the day before Ash wednesday, it is also called "pancake day". Google it, its true. The waffles here were not bad, it could have been better. The pandan Gelato was quite good, and the sweet taste goes really very well with the hot waffles. Will return again someday time try the charcoal waffles. They have many gelato flavours as well, so u will be Spoilt for choices.

Waffle + Double Scoop (Rum&Raisin, Pistachio) $14.5 The staff said that only the plain waffles were 1 for 1, the ice cream was not, and signature waffles were not included in burpple deals. Was a little disappointed overall, as the waffles were normal-tasting, a little too hard and not evenly baked. The run&raisin ice cream was smooth and rich, while the pistachio ice cream was a little icy.

Hidden Western Gem Wanted to eat the claypot hokkien mee but it was closed. Was exploring around to explore this western stall which has a long history. I ordered the crispy chicken ($8.90) and I like it that it is thinly battered and chicken was moist. They also have free tartar sauce for you to take so it is good alternative other than chilli and tomato which is rare in a hawker. Toilet around the toilet was surprising clean too which is a first for a coffeeshop

Fish & Chips Have tried Master Chippy for so many years now. The fish is nicely fried and not too oily but the star of the dish are the fries!

Pacific Dory It's been a few years since I ate this fish & chips institution. I expected okay but the fish was really good! Fresh and plump. Conversely my sides were terrible. The mash tasted like those artificial ones and the rice was stupidly just plain white rice.

Chicken Cutlet with Swiss Raclette Cheese Last hurrah with them before closure. Unfortunately this signature did not live up to its reputation. I thought three slabs of meat and special cheese justified the higher price, but they're small and simple, and the latter only offered visuals, nothing for the taste. Worse, the baby potatoes were lousy and the house braised sauce was negligible.

Crab Roll Last hurrah with them before closure. This signature was really good. The sensational crabmeat paired with fragrant croissant. The truffle shoestring fries were also superb.

Salted egg yolk chicken burger Salted egg yolk chicken burger came with two (!!) pieces of juicy chicken cutlet and a generous serving of creamy salted egg yolk sauce. Also had the slightly sweet taste of the Tze char oats that paired well with it. Delightful!

Overall, pizzas were very thin (like as thin as a wrap), flavours were not balanced 🍳 Ham and Egg: Rather one dimensional flavours, ham tastes more like picnic ham, tomato sauce tasted like canned pasta sauce 🍤 Garlic Prawn: The pizza came with six prawns, which were decently sized and juicy. However, the combination of blue cheese (??), lemon and peppers was confusing and the flavours did not go well together Prices are pretty steep even with the 1-for-1 deal, considering the mediocre quality of the food. Service was good though

Pesto Avocado Pizza Expensive and not worth it. Taste wise so-so. I could get better , bigger pizza for the same price. But got to say the staff was really nice and friendly. Not coming back for the food though.

1-1 Pizza Deal, Garlic Prawn & TWB Supreme Portion was decent, even though it was 2 pizzas for 3 people. Garlic prawns were fresh, ingredients on the pizza all nicely complement each other and the thin crust of pizza was perfect! Staff was friendly too.

Gashouse Eggs | $13 Finally had the chance to hit up One Man Coffee after being greeted by long snaking queues during their brunch time. Got lucky and managed to snag a seat for breakfast. Opted for the gashouse eggs as I was not feeling hungry enough for the bigger plates. Absolutely loved how they made it, cheesy on the top yet oozy sunny side up egg in the middle. I’m personally not a fan of sourdough bread that’s too tough, but this crusty rendition had a great chewy texture to it. Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Hits and misses, but will return for a 2nd time 1. Breakfast your way ($17.50+): built your own breakfast set. I had pancake with scrambled egg + mushroom + bacon + maple syrup. The pancake was overcook, hence texture was hard. Egg was ok. 2. Garlic Calamari & Prawn Pasta ($19+): comes with two tiger prawns, was fresh and yummy. However the whole pasta was too oily for my liking. 3. Acoustic Laksa ($21+): taste exactly the same as our traditional laksa but this a dried pasta version. The laksa fragrance was thick enough, Recommended! 4. Classic Tots ($9+): mini harshbrown with maple syrup, this is my to go dish if I’m returning next time. Simple yet delicious! Must eat!
