Carbonara pasta Vegetarian carbonara pasta. Its written mushrooms would be given instead of the bacon, but there was so much carrots instead and so little mushrooms. Plus the sauce wasn’t creamy enough for me .

Bacon Chestnut “Latte” I really adore their 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐧𝐮𝐭 “𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞” as it’s such a cute and creative concept! It’s a warm and hearty bacon chestnut soup served in a latte cup instead of the usual soup bowl. Upon taking a mouthful of the warm soup, smooth and savory bacon flavor fills my mouth, followed by the creamy and robust chestnut flavor. Super shiok to dip the crisp toast into the warm and creamy soup!

Herbal Chicken The chicken was a tad bit dry and tasteless for me. The best part of this dish is surprisingly the kale instead.

Cafe a few days ago and ordered a Tiger Beer-battered Fish and Chips with Truffle Fries upgrade ($37), Crispy Roast Chicken ($32) and a Double Chocolate Blackout Cake ($18)!😇 Overall ratings 8.5/10😍 Food and service was good, portions were generous, but chicken skin was a little tough ans cake was gelat after awhile😅 Nice date place so will definitely be back once in awhile😁

STILL THE GOLD STANDARD FOR TRUFFLE FRIES Dropped by PS. Cafe for a quick lunch today after running some errands in Orchard and their truffle shoestring fries is still consistently good. Perfectly crisp with a nice truffle fragrance and topped with grated parmesan. The chicken rossa penne is my usual go-to, the garlic tomato cream sauce is a nice balance of tangy and savoury. However, the spicy king prawn aglio olio fell short today with the spaghetti being the main culprit; under-seasoned and was cut up into shorter strands, a move that might anger many diners.

Portobello Mushroom Fries I’ve never see any review of this dish before so thought to give some of my comment. This portion cost $18 which is the same as their Truffle Fries (the more pops one). My honest review: Crust of the mushroom is still crispy when served 👍🏼 However, there’s nothing really special about this dish though and because it is fried, the mushroom still pretty oily. Can be quite jelak after eating a few pieces. So probably I will stick to the truffle fries instead of this.

every meal at PS. is not complete without truffle fries! PS. CLUB SANDWICH ($26.50) was superrr hearty and tasty. the fried egg really pulled the whole dish together i feel. but if not for the tomato relish, i would have found the chicken way too dry. GREEN GODDESS PESTO PENNE ($26) was superrr flavourful and as a veggie lover this was 🤤🤤🤤🥦 Unlike many pesto pastas, this wasn’t swimming in oil but I would have preferred it to be slightlyyyy less dry!

Chicken Parmigiano A refuge for social gathering, PS.Cafe probably doesn't need a introduction! But did you know that the charming cafe started their operations within a clothing shop? The homegrown brand has since expanded operations into multiple outlets islandwide and also diversified into contemporary Japanese cuisine at Jypsy and Chinese fusion food at Chop Suey Cafe. We tried the Chicken Parmigiano ($29) along with a few other mains, sides and desserts. Definitely try the truffle fries and indulgent desserts too!✨

Atlas Coffeehouse (1) ☕️ Went to Atlas Coffeehouse a few weeks ago and ordered a Summer Chicken Stew ($19.30), Wurst Rosti with a change to scrambled eggs ($28), Iced Matcha Latte ($7.50), Iced Latte ($6.40), and a Butterscotch Banana Pancake shown in the next post ($18.50)!😇 Overall ratings is a 9/10!!🥰 Really enjoyed the food and drinks here, where the chicken stew has an interesting citrus twist to it, and the matcha latte was sweet enough to my liking🤣 Service was pretty good too! Only downsides are that the sausage from the rosti is too salty and the prices are a little steep!😅

Add-on Scrambled egg +4nett You don't necessarily need to order gentleman's relish to get your honey mascarpone and scrambled egg, you can easily add on these things It's alright but not particularly stunning, I don't think it's worth trying here. Honestly all of the good cafe scrambled eggs taste the same, prove me wrong(never tried Ronin but they closed alr lol) Overall this place is damn consistent and it's all the more impressive, not only because of how long, but because of how popular they got

Vegan Matcha "Egg" tarts ($5.60/2pcs) Sounded interesting because egg tarts without the egg?🤔 Well this mostly tasted like a soy tart infused with coconut more than anything. I loved the tart shell though. Perfectly crumbly and fragrant. Overall i enjoyed this as a tart, but in terms of matcha rating i'd give it a 0 because there was barely anything matcha about this😅 heard from my friend that the hojicha fared better though?

Jacky ($9.80) Had this delivered so of course the texture wasn't optimal, with the patty being not as crisp as it should have been Overall an interesting burger though, definitely haven't had many (or any) with a patty made out of jackfruit. Loved the spices used in these though. Goes together really well with the bbq sauce also. Maybe its a personal preference but felt that the pineapple doesn't really weld well together with the rest of the burger, which was sad since it was such a huge chunk too😅

Matcha Choc Chip Cookies ($3/2pcs) Made using matcha powder from matchaya, as with the case for their other matcha/hojicha items. Not exactly a fan of the texture here, which was a little too hard and i felt that the overall flavour profile leaned more towards plain butter cookies infused with choc chips, rather than matcha

Matcha Latte ($7) Matcha flavour is mild in Baker & Cook’s matcha latte. Okay for a quick fix, but there’re other places nearby that serve up better matcha lattes. Did like the small brownie cube provided to go along with their beverages, which was chocolatey and soft.

Cappuccino (Regular, $5.80 + $1 Soy Milk) My strongest impression of this cuppa is the extremely thick and creamy foam layer. It’s also dusted with cocoa powder - yums! The coffee taste is quite strong in this one and it felt like the milk-coffee ratio was skewed. Overall still not bad!

ham Quiche 8.5nett Can add on salad for 4nett The worst item I got. The flaky pastry was too thick and had that unpleasant flaky butter aftertaste. The egg was also tasteless. Don't go for their quiche (if you do, you MUST heat it, it's a lot less bad when it's warm)

Fruit Tart 6.8nett The crust as abit soft but otherwise, from someone who doesn't enjoy fruit tarts, this was really good. Fruits were fresh and sweet, everything was superbly balanced. Only problem is that it's hard to share, both figuratively and literally
