Les Bouchons is my favourite go-to place for juicy steak and addictive (free-flow) fries! Plus, they come with a sauce tray so you can pick what to go with your steak. I think Vigeron butter tastes the best tho 🙌🏻 This branch has a much bigger space so you get to dine in comfort. The french vibes also make it perfect for date night!
Between this and the Chocolate Chip cookie we ordered, we preferred this! Probably also because this came out slightly warmer and we’re big fans of Lotus biscuits. However, just felt that the nutella filling did little to the overall taste!
Worth every calorie, but not worth every penny. They injected the cookie with nutella filling using a syringe, which is rather makeshift. Overall felt like I was paying for the marketing gimmicks than a good cookie.
Decided to give this shop a go and came out very satisfied with the decent quality of ma la tang! They measure the ingredients you took by weight so it’s pretty fast. However, we were a lil disappointed with our soggy noodles.
Tasty carbonara and worth it with burpple beyond 1 for 1!
Ordered this mala fish which turned out pretty spicy and it left us no choice to appreciate the soup. Add on some sides onto the soup and it would be perfect to share for two! Recommend the la mian for sure 👍🏻
New popular coffee chain on the block! Most singaporeans would be familiar with this if they’ve been to kyoto. We queued for 20-30 mins on a Sunday afternoon in the unbearable heat. But it’s worth it because both the milk and coffee makes it so unique from many coffee chains we have! Looking forward to the other two outlets set to open rest of the year!
Undoubtedly the best chicken rice in Singapore! The cold texture of the chicken goes superbly well with the rice and special soup they have prepared. Service is also very quick with the large number of workers so you don’t have to worry about the long queue. Recommend getting the half chicken at $14 - very value for money!
Decent ramen at City Hall if you’re looking for a quick meal. Only tried the ramen due to Burpple Beyond but I suppose their tempura should be their signature. They were very generous with the chashu. The broth was thick and savoury too. Remember to tell them that you are using Beyond before ordering!
If you’re like me, a big fan of truffles fries - you’d definitely love this dish! Choose this for the 4 course meal! Love how they didn’t skimp on the cheese and dip. It was a fantastic side to the wagyu beef bowls we ordered. Will be back for this!
Following what other Burrplers below had recommended, we topped up $7 each to have Mentaiko Beef Bowl. And boy, no regrets! It tasted perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and service as well!
4 x Vietnamese spring rolls that are perfect as appetisers!
