Can't believe almost a month has past since we dined at Burnt Ends... 😐 It was tough getting a reservation towards the end of last year, but we were lucky to have scored one! We had an absolutely amazing dining experience. From small plates, main courses, to dessert🍬, the food was exquisitely presented and we loved the combination of flavours. Hidden gem with good quality coffee Our 5oz Flat White ($5) came filled to the brim with creamy goodness. No Frills, Good Coffee 𝙏𝙂𝙄𝙁!!! And TGFN (Thank God for @nyloncoffee 😆🍃☕☕) Finally made it here again after a few failed attempts (Covid, renovation works etc...) and I'm truly thankful for the chance to savour a simple cuppa coffee that goes straight to the heart. ♥️♥️ Definitely one of my go-to coffee places whenever I'm in the Duxton area~~

Good vibes & good food (~$40/pax) The burgers here are great! Very juicy beef patties and soft buttery brioche buns. Good cocktails, and fries were flavourful and yummy. I think we really enjoyed the portobello, which is roasted mushrooms on toast (pictured in the middle)! ✨ratings: 8/10✨

Swopping out michelin noodle Noodles where the feature is the pork belly or char siew is lost on me cos I don’t eat those. They kindly swopped out the pork for me today!

a noodle story i didn’t intend to come here for dinner but saw they had a promotion so i dropped by… and it ended up BLOWING MY MIND. noodles were very springy, and i enjoyed every single thing in that bowl - the egg, the soft chashu that is so soft it practically dissolves in your mouth, the ngoh hiang, fried wanton… and the wanton soup was great to cleanse my palate at the end. they had an outlet at guoco tower but it has closed unfortunately :( but so delicious 8/10!

Singapore Style Ramen | $12.90 The noodles were nicely tossed this time round with its melt in the mouth pork belly. The ngoh hiang is extremely flavourful but felt that it was a little too salty today.

Early Mornings in Joo Chiat with One of the Best Pratas in Singapore Whenever I find myself in Joo Chiat in the morning, I’m always spoilt for choice. But one dish usually reigns supreme—Mr and Mrs Mohgan’s Super Crispy Prata. As the name suggests, the crisp factor is unreal, and trust me, one is never enough. My go-to order? A kosong + telur combo. The default comes with fish curry, but here’s a pro tip: ask for a side of sambal with ikan bilis. The combination of fish curry + sambal with prata? Absolutely next-level comfort food.

Extended hours? We were strolling in Joo Chiat and saw them open. It was a surprise but we just ordered two slices. Still very good to me, but the fiancee felt the standard has dropped since Mr Mohgan passed away.

Plain & Plaster Prata Back to Mr and Mrs Mohgan's for their crispy prata. Although missing Mr Mohgan now, their prata is still as crispy as before. Everything else feels the same. Pratas are crispy on the outside, stretchy and fluffy on the inside. I always go for the fish curry but I noticed they don't serve homemade sambal anymore. Plain Prata 》$1.50 Plaster Prata 》$2

Way too expensive for basics Service and table wait was amazing. Food wise mediocre. Literally scrambled eggs with toast for $16, top up pork sausage for 6, adding up to $22. Look at it. Normal pre packed, processed sausages I would say. Normal bread, not even sourdough. What can I say, basic and soulless food. A bit sad and disappointed and way too pricey. Mocha came in a tiny glass cup. Wasn’t tasty too. Ambience??, no ambience.

Reuben 17++ It's decent, everything was not too strong. There could have been more meat tho. The bread had a noteworthy hard crisp which reminded me of crispy waffles for some reason Overall expensive place and not worth it at all, food is decent but quite overhyped

Chicken Katsu Burger Interesting use of mushroom sauce. The egg also elevated the burger. Overall enjoyable!
