They use blend from Dutch Colony. I love how gao it tastes ;)
Back here again for its ice-cream! This time, there were more flavours to try and it did not disappoint me. Both cookies&cream and dark choc were flavorful and smooth! Added a waffle cone for $1 and it's really good too.
Tried an iced tea from their menu - very refreshing and undiluted.
[Showa Hakata] made a reservation at 8.30pm through eatigo app and got 50% off bill!
The maki roll is as good as the one at the SSB. Customer service is also superb. Although this is a little out of the way, it's worth heading back for its sushi!

With a bite into the chicken breast, you could tell it was cooked with a well controlled temperature because it's so soft!! Totally beats the myth of chicken breast being dry and tasteless.
We chose japanese brown rice as the base topped with bonito flakes, with brocoli, mushrooms and roasted pumpkin as sides. The yuzu sauce went well with the mains.

Well marinated and juicy fried chicken!! With caramelised onions, generous slices of tomatoes and lettuce and lots of different sauces added. Add $1 for fries.
Not sure of the stall number and name, but it's the only stall that sells burgers with a chalkboard menu :)
This is really one unique way of preparing this dish. Crispy outer layer wrapping the shell pasta, cheese and ham in it. It was not as satisfying as the original form of mac&cheese but with the side salad and poached egg, it is still a very well balanced meal.
Better than yakun IMO. The kaya is not too sweet but fragrant and thick. The bread was toasted to perfection, achieving that crisp on the outer and soft on the inner. Plus that semi melted slab of butter 😍
Did not get to try their donut and noodles. Will definitely be back for it!!
This bowl of soup pack a punch! With potatoes, bacon bits and cheddar cheese, it is enough to make you feel full before starting on your main course. Super creamy and tasty.
[3 Stories Cafe] Homemade icecream - $3.50 per scoop (as seen in picture). Where else can you get a full cup of icecream at such an affordable price? Furthermore, students enjoy 10% discount.
They also sell waffles and coffee. Rental of bicycles is available too! A good place to hangout with friends over some icecream
The difference from the chinese one is that this dish is less oily and spicy, but sweeter. Still has that vinegar and garlic. The dumplings were filled with lots of ingredients 👍
It definitely deserves to be the top on the list of their cakes and probably the best ondeh ondeh cake around! The gula melaka coconut in between the pandan/kaya flavoured cakes were not too sweet but the the crunchiness will make you crave for more!
This huge slice of cake was da bomb! Chocolate cake was moist, cream was not jelat, and the best was the layer of ovaltime/milo. Comes with a scoop of vanilla icecream which helps to balance out.
