Sitting right at Kuvo on a Friday night and found enlightenment in this seemingly humble menu item. A mélange of sweet and salty and crispy and warm and and and and sooooo goood. It's also crafted right out of freshly baked croissant, how genius is that!
Ate us some meat in the form of the Beef Ragu pappardelle and burger while a throng of ppl danced and beer-ed outside. It would seem that my only highlight is the housemade artisanal lychee oolong iced tea and brunch a better option for food next time.
That there's a whole city alive behind the nondescript shopfront nestled on the quiet street. Naturally lit and peaceably bustling. My type of surprise. I had a very nicely prepared hand brew of the Strangers Reunion blend and the country's most instagrammed Berry Ricotta hotcake (very much comparable and cheaper to the version at Paddy Hills)
Caught them at closing time so this might not be the prettiest flat white (?) But it was good for my soul while it lasted. Will get to that macaron croissant after i burn me some excess calories. Tomorrow.
They must have been really good then. Sans the scramble; bacon and some form of hollandaise, this waffle was of good material. Will go back to try the 7-spiced chai and that elusive french bread.
My thing for bakeries. Feels right to have breakfast here before you begin your day in town. Coffee from Common Man Roasters -always a pleasure.
Well, the place was beautiful, very chill sunday hangout. Won't shout too much about the coffee or food though.
Deconstructed latte + the famed butterscotch pancake. Coffee should b drunk in order and with speed since mine turned cold fast: espresso, milk, latte. But by that heaven-of-a-pancake this place is awesome.
