The Co-Op Ordered the truffle fries, Caesar salad and smoked duck carbonara. We loved the truffle fries - the truffle taste was very pronounced but the fries were slightly oily and greasy. Caesar salad was good but croutons were a little stale.

One Of The Better Burgers Out There! Haven't had a good burger in a long while, and I'm glad I had this. The Wagyu Burger ($25.90) had a soft patty that is nicely charred on its edges, with a good mild cheddar cheese that is melted into the patty. The truffle aioli, combined with the caramelised onions really added a new dimension to the burger, with the umami coming through strong. The fries were amazing too even after its cold!! No regrets having this sinful meal at all 😂

Not Very Cheap But Worth The Price I've ordered the wagyu burger and fish and chips using the 1 for 1 beyond deal. #burpplebeyond The fish was pretty decent however it was abit overcooked for me and thus abit flakey . The batter was light and crispy. The fries were exceptional good!!! It was well-seasoned, crispy and light! To me it was the star of the dish :)) For the wagyu burger, fries were exceptional! (Same fries as the fish n chips). However, the star of this meal was the burger. The flavour depth on this burger simply stunning! The patty was cooked perfectly. It was juicy and packed with lots of flavour. The caramelized onions and cheeze really adds on thr flavour to the burger. Topped with the light and toasted brioche buns, it's one of thr best burgers I've ever eaten. If you guys are a fan of burgers, you NEED to try this. All in all, it was a good deal by burpple. I'd definitely come back a second time to grab the burger again ;))

Zoodle Bolognese Zucchini for noodles gives it a nice clean taste, with a slight crunch. Soaks up the sauce really well, with the beef like impossible meat 🌱 This was definitely our favourite dish of the night.

Cashew based pasta Tried the cashew based pasta. Was quite good. But this outlet apparently does not accept the burpple beyond deal. Even after I showed the waitress that this is the correct outlet (vs serangoon one), she still said they are not on burpple. Weird...

Rebel Ultimate Breakfast ($19) Don’t be fooled - this Ultimate Breakfast is vegan. Rebellious indeed, because that pork sausage patty right there is all soy and no (real) meat. It’s Impossible! Accompanying it is a muffin topped with sautéed mushrooms, along with avocado, beetroot hummus, cherry tomatoes and shredded zucchini on the side. I liked the variety of colours in this dish, it was very pleasing on the eyes. The beetroot hummus is definitely an eye catcher with its creamy, bright pink appearance. For those that are a little hesitant about the beetroot - don’t worry because the beetroot taste isn’t that strong in the hummus. Being an omnivore that often orders full breakfasts, I felt that this dish lacked “vegan eggs”. It was an essential puzzle piece in completing the “ultimate breakfast” experience - because this didn’t seem very ultimate to me, just more like a sausage muffin with some veg on the side. It would be nice having scrambled eggs on the side as well seeing that there are already many vegan egg options on the market. It would also help in justifying the price tag of $19.. Perhaps a vegan would think differently? When I first laid eyes on Rebel’s vegan menu, I was definitely very confused. There were so many familiar names such as Unagi Donburi, to Grilled Chicken Quesadillas. It took me awhile to realize that vegan food has indeed come a long way with several meat replacements and even vegan alternatives for mayo, cheese and eggs. It’s great that restaurants like Rebel provide a place for people of different dietary choices to come together and enjoy their usual western food fare. Overall I think the vegan menu in Rebel is worth a try once for the experience - at least for omnivores/non-vegans like myself, which I can speak for more confidently. :P It was fun looking at the dishes and being like, woah, this looks and tastes pretty legit! Otherwise I probably wouldn’t return unless I was with someone vegan. Signature Torched Wagyu Beef Bowl Our go-to spot for gyudon that's better than casual options but cheaper than premium ones. How is their beef so fat? My only gripe is always the amount of rice.

$14 for 2 Coke And 2 Ice Cream Waffle Chanced upon it and decided to give this a try after lunch. It’s a $14 set for 2 coke and 2 ice cream waffle, which I think it’s a little pricey. Anyways, the waffle is super dry and egg-y. Was not impressed, managed to only finish half of the plate. Disappointed. Ratings: 0/5

Affordable soufflé pancakes Affordable soufflé pancakes at $9, not as fluffy and creamy as Fluffy Pancakes but it’s worth for the low price point. We had their original pancakes with salted caramel sauce; i’m personally not a fan of caramel but my friend liked it! They gave very little whipped cream but i asked for more and they gave me another dollop :-) Overall a nice place! But be aware that the burpple beyond discount does not apply to their pancakes.

Cosy cafe with fluffy seats Great place overall to chill and hang out but the cake and drinks were just average.

risotto pollo ($14.90) risotto was cooked just nice, not too soft or too hard and sauce was quite nice as well. it had a good amount of spice while still retaining the sweetness of the tomato sauce. chicken was ok. portion didn’t seem big but it didn’t leave me feeling hungry so that’s good unfortunately a lot of their better sounding menu choices are excluded from the burpple deal :( also there was only one person working at the time but the place was p empty so that’s fine. overall q affordable with burpple for a fairly decent and simple meal, wouldn’t mind coming again but maybe not my first choice 👍🏻👍🏻

Al Grandchio Pasta was nice! A lovely surprise as it was pretty empty on a Friday night. Prices are pretty affordable, averaging below $20 per main. Only gripe is they don't serve water. Will try their pizza next time!

Sausage with paprika cream sauce $11.9, Bacon aglio olio $9.9 Super worth it with the 1 for 1 and prices are nett and food is good! The bacon aglio olio was very fragrant with the garlic and pepper and chili, and was slightly spicy. The bacon pieces were also quite generous. The cream sauce had a good balance of paprika flavour to the cream and it did not overpower the whole dish. Sausage was good as well, and did not taste like cheap quality and wasn’t too salty. The cream sauce might be jelak after several bites for some so recommended to share!

1-1 Mains Smoked duck pizza- pizza is those thin crust type which I prefer. Duck is well cooked. Quite like the pizza :) Mentaiko seafood pasta- pasta serving was quite small and it taste alittle plastic-y Ambiance was good tho and the staffs are nice. However, when I went there, the mains were not available.. only pastas and pizzas was.

Lousy Portion Such a tiny miserable piece of chicken given, waste of money even with Burpple deal

Mentaiko Fries (SGD$12) A generous portion of warm fries with mentaiko sauce. This is a uniquely flavourful sauce made from fish roe (think sushi dressing) and subtle mayonnaise. The mentaiko taste is prominent enough to somewhat overpower the mayonnaise taste which is a positive effect in my opinion.

house-elves special pork ribs ($23) this was so so good!!! the buttercream poached ribs were incredibly tender and i loved the sauce it came in and pesto mayo drizzle. mash potatoes were nice too and the beetroot was pickled well

crab meat aglio olio ($18) first time seeing aglio olio topped w smoked salmon. this dish was really flavourful & spicy which is great🌶👍🏼 there is an option for non spicy too

saffron pan seared salmon ($19) big portion and salmon was really tender! i liked the mashed beetroot too
