$16.90 for a half seared half sashimi donburi. The slices were thick and the portion just sufficient for lunch. Wont be caught in a post lunch food coma situation.

The queue was long but quite fast. Had their beef don with Yakuniku Tare sauce. Added Edamame beans. The don was $14.90 with an onsen egg, and added $1.50 for the beans. Portion is small but filling, not something I would go out of my way to have it and I dont expect to have cravings for it thereafter too. Worth a try if you are in the vicinity and dont mind trying something new.

If there is only 1 thing you need to queue for, it has got to be Yoogane. So what if you need to stand in line for an hour, so what if you come out smelling like a grilled chicken. Cheese and chicken is the best thing that happened for me in 2005 (so far, that is...)

Lunch at Manzoku is the best way to clear away those Monday Blues.

Not something which you would normally want to order when you see it on the menu. But I'm glad we did! It tasted like sauteed mushrooms. The food was not too bad and so were the cocktails (I had pineapple lemongrass). The Ayu fish wasnt for me. Too many fine bones and it was salty. I would say, pick the meats and probably go for the set dinners for better value.
