so spicy i had diarrhea the next day but it was worth it... all worth it...
the only thing i would go back for here... would be the yummy egg tarts. the crispy char siew baos weren't crispy at all and the liu sha baos were jam packed with oil that weren't incorporated properly with the salted egg paste... :s the liu sha baos weren't bad, but the yellow oil oozing out of the bun as i bit into it killed my appetite. :(
this was REALLY good. if you ever do come here, you have to try this. the waffles were rather dry... wouldn't go back for the waffles but will definitely go back the the thick honey toasts!
IT WAS SO SO GOOD. the buns were so soft and yummy but the Peanut Butter Jelly French Toast was the absolute winner 😋
it was a rather good sandwich but i felt it was a tad bit too salty...
our food took pretty long to come but that was okay.. but when my sister's steak arrived, her sunny side up (which was an additional 2 dollars) was NOT served with it. the waiter then told us that it'll be served later on (but we were like, shouldn't the egg be with the dish?????????? but we let that slip). 15-20 mins later (her sunny side up was still not served yet...) and they finally served my order (without the sunny side up AGAIN). so we waited for another 10 mins for our sunny side up to be served on a different plate (as seen in the photo). and guess whattttt, the yolk was already burst (the heck). so we asked for a new one which was haha, the one in the photo. what a 'great' mothers' day lunch
the char siew sou, crispy duck skin and liu sha pao were the best i've ever tasted. but...the rest were so-so, they weren't bad but not fantastic. the worst was the duck meat... it was so tough. my family barely touched the plate of duck meat. would come back here again, but only for the char siew sou and lsb.
the portions here are reaaaalllly huge.... but super nice though it got rather 'gelat' after awhile. but the cakes here are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wheeeeeee
built my own burger today! the wagyu beef patty was grilled to perfection (medium rare) and together with the red cheddar cheese, sautéed mushrooms and garlic mayo...it was amazing. the garlic parmesan buffalo wings were good as well and you can choose the level of spiciness! only con about my meal today was the heavily floured onion rings :( but other than that... it was an awesome meal. very fulfilling and would definitely come back again!
