Truly a hidden gem, wasn't expecting to find such tasty and hearty brunch fare in Hort Park. For $18, you get super tender apple-braised short ribs on a bed of mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs with roasted capsicum on homemade ciabatta, topped with Swiss cheese AND a ginormous portion of greens and truffle fries!!! Such value for money!! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Also worth a shoutout is the Vineyard Pepperoni ($18) — thin crust pizza that is oh-so-satisfying 😋😋😋
We got to try a little Port last night and it turns out to be really awesome. Essentially red wine with brandy, Port has a smooth texture and sweet flavour. It goes down real easily, despite having a 19% alcohol content. Warning: take a conscious effort to drink in moderation. You might KO before you realize.
One of the more interesting fusion pastas I have had of late, featuring large chargrilled prawns laid over broad ribbons of handcut pasta that's been tossed in an umami ebiko cream sauce and covered in yet more ebiko.

Instead of the usual Sri Lankan crabs, this rendition stars stringy snow crab meat smothered in a gritty, finger-lickin' awesome salted egg sauce - I daresay it trumps the ones I've had at many other zi char or seafood stalls. It's a steal at only $19.90 for half a crab.
