Signature Charsiew minced chicken mazesoba Set C ($15.90++) The best thing about this set is the miso soup - fragrant, spicy, wonderful! The rest is ok, nothing to scream about. Don’t order the seaweed, it’s kind of chewy. Pretty good value overall.

Keitaku Signature Minced Chicken Mazesoba ($13.90) I felt that their mazesoba was quite cheap excluded GST (9%) & service charge (10%). But the serving portion was average (no more or less) and at least their pepper soup was quite pretty good and spicy to complement well with mazesoba. Minced Chicken was slightly spicy taste but at least I don't feel jelak after that. Mazesoba texture was quite thick but got still having chewy and dent texture.

the best thing on the menu I had the Elvis ($11) which had PB, raw cacao, banana blended together to form a thick & creamy smoothie bowl, topped with house-made vanilla granola. Also topped with raw peanut butter cubes which were to die for!! The top layer was rich pb & choc, and the bottom sticky crunchy layer was a mixture of crushed cashews, pitted dates & coconut.

change to gluten free toast!!!! was convinced by a friend to change the buns of the Portobello Mushroom Burger ($18) to Gluten-free Toast (+$3). It’s LIFE CHANGING SERIOUSLY. As usual, their potato chunks taste amazing esp when paired with their housemade mayo.

STANDARD DROP, STAFF DONT CARE Risotto was just severely undercooked !!!!! Told at least 2 STAFFS and they said errrr ok …. HOWEVER NO ACTION BEING DONE…. UNACCEPTABLE FOR A F&B restaurant. TRULY the worst food ever. Won’t even pay a penny for the food.

Chicken Cutlet with Swiss Raclette Cheese Last hurrah with them before closure. Unfortunately this signature did not live up to its reputation. I thought three slabs of meat and special cheese justified the higher price, but they're small and simple, and the latter only offered visuals, nothing for the taste. Worse, the baby potatoes were lousy and the house braised sauce was negligible.

Crab Roll Last hurrah with them before closure. This signature was really good. The sensational crabmeat paired with fragrant croissant. The truffle shoestring fries were also superb.

Salted egg yolk chicken burger Salted egg yolk chicken burger came with two (!!) pieces of juicy chicken cutlet and a generous serving of creamy salted egg yolk sauce. Also had the slightly sweet taste of the Tze char oats that paired well with it. Delightful!

Crap stick pasta $13.90 for crab STICK pasta. Modern scam, stay away from this brand.

Tonkatsu udon With many mid tier udon places popping up, tamoya udon is still one of my favourite mid tier udon spots in Singapore. Got the chance to try their black garlic tonkatsu udon, and loved it —- gobbled it down really quick. Managed to get 30% off which made the price reasonable.

Mentaiko salmon pasta Loved the sauce! So tasty and the salmon was cooked only partially through, so it was soft and moist.

One for one pasta Tried the mentaiko salmon carbonara with ebiko Love this pasta! The mentaiko and carbonara combination always work It feels a little Jelat but disappears so quickly when it’s shared. Tried their coffees as well — like the dirty sesame and iced latte. Spent around $80 for two sandwiches and two pasta (2 one for one deals) and 4 drinks so a great meal!

226 Years Shoyu Recipe Ultimate Ramen This ramen place no need to introduce further for their famous fire performance, but their popularity has since quiet down. There’s only two table occupied when I came on weekday dinner time. When you order the signature ramen with their 226 years shoyu recipe, you get to choose whether you want to experience the fire show or not. If this is your first time then you should go for it at least once. Get your camera ready as they’re pouring the fire onto your bowl of ramen at the counter. This unique taste of ramen blended with their chicken broth and flaming Negi juice, an original shoyu ramen recipe from Kyoto. The ultimate ramen comes with chashu, pork slice, egg, seaweed and corns. The portion is available to choose from either regular or lite. So if you prefer to have lesser noodles, the lite portion will reduced to half of regular.

Disappointed Quite disappointed with the repeated order. The serving was lacking of abalone, blueberries , pear sticks, a pair of oranges in the second order and amount of vegetables and fruits was very little compared to first order. Was told by the staff there’s a surcharge for abalone which was not stated on the promotion poster next to the cashier! They were out of blueberries. In end my order was topped with abalone and a pair of oranges.
