The food is to die for Love everything about this cafe/bar. The ambience, the food, the drinks, it’s all amazing. The shakshouka and the waffles are probably the best ones I have tried in sg. It’s amazing and the portions are huge. Though pricey, I would say it’s worth it.

Taste worth trying The mains come in halves so it’s easy to share with a friend. The meat was tender and flavourful, and e toast was buttery and amazing on its own. Enjoyed the eggs benedict and the pork confit. Will definite come again with more people to try out more stuff!

Aburi Broccoli Salad Woah! This bowl of broccoli was really beyond my expectation! The broccoli was torched to crisp. Together with the parmasan cheese and papadom sprinkled on top, which added an extra point to the dish itself. Recommended 👍🏼

Suggest to skip the eggplant, not a fan of that. Xlb also just so-so, the rest not bad eat.

Swee Choon🥟 Went to Swee Choon 2 weeks ago and ordered their Char Siew Bao, Beancurd Seafood Roll, Chicken Claw, Rice Roll with Char Siew, Beancurd Prawn Roll, Shanghai Wanton Noodles (Dry), Chilled Chicken in Spicy Bean Paste, Japanese Cucumber and Black Fungus Salad, and some drinks (~$60/3 pax)! Overall ratings 8/10😁 Biased to Beancurd Prawn Roll but they do it so well here💯 The Wonton Noodles and the Char Siew Bao is also pretty good, will definitely be back next time😇

1 for 1 BIG BREKKIE ✨1 for 1 all-in-one brekkie at @onemancoffee ☕️ using @burpple ‼️ … One of the most worth it deals I got with @burpple thus far. Really appreciate the good service and consistent serving size according to their usual (the portions are sizeable! 👍), nicely sautéed mushroom, fatty artisanal chorizo sausage and fav tater tots 💖

Overall good experience. Value for money, not bad but sausage and bacon were a little salty. $33 for 2 breakfast sets + 2 coffees.

Gashouse Eggs | $13 Finally had the chance to hit up One Man Coffee after being greeted by long snaking queues during their brunch time. Got lucky and managed to snag a seat for breakfast. Opted for the gashouse eggs as I was not feeling hungry enough for the bigger plates. Absolutely loved how they made it, cheesy on the top yet oozy sunny side up egg in the middle. I’m personally not a fan of sourdough bread that’s too tough, but this crusty rendition had a great chewy texture to it. Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Gula Melaka Boba Croissant ($4.60) Croissant filled with gula melaka cream and tapioca pearls . The croissant was flaky but a bit burnt though while the gula melaka cream added a nice sweetness . And as usual, the pearls were soft and mushy .

Gula Melaka Boba ($7.30) Gula melaka sponge filled with mascarpone cream and tapicoa pearls . The gula melaka sponge was quite cold in the middle and the pearls were mushy . And I couldn’t really taste the gula melaka flavour . A bit disappointed by this dessert though .

Scrambled Egg with Croissant The egg is nicely cooked and the croissant is crisp

The Populus Scramble The Populus Scramble consisted of basic ingredients like turkey bacon, croissant, scrambled eggs with herbs (essentially spring onions and big red chilli). Not a very good photographer (esp for food), but plating was well done, enough for me to take like a pro for once. The textbook scrambled eggs was a win for me, the herbs gave it a slight Asian twist. But apart from that, nothing to shout about, no complexity nor depth in flavours. Croissant was very mediocre, and after 3 mouths it was all really one-dimensional. I couldn’t finish it. It just did not make the cut for such price point ($22 bef GST & svc charge). Hesitant to come back, but if I do then I’d probably try something else. Also, there was not much viable options for my poor vegetarian friend. Her favourite mushrooms were already pre-mixed with garlic so no customisations. Ratings: Taste - 7/10 Price - 5.5/10 Ambience - 7/10

Crab cake Benedict Benedict (poached egg with creamy cheese) on in-house crab cake (texture a little like hash brown but more seafood creamy taste) on sour dough. Sided with some salad veg. $20. Good creamy egg as breakfast.

Pulled Pork and Avocado Eggs Benedict Should be better in terms of flavour. Ordered this dish because of good reviews. However, when taking a bite, the taste of food was overpowering. Had to dabble with egg to balance out the flavour of pulled pork. To put it simply, it was salty. Cost: $20

Very Decent Nasi Lemak... From A Cafe! Beef rendang nasi lemak ($9.90 nett). Spicy and tender enough for me! For that price point, good cuppa to go with, clean, spacious outdoor space for my kiddos to blow bubbles, there’s nothing to complain about at all👍🏻!

Nasi Lemak Nasi Lemak with 5 Spice Pork Confit (S$9.90) Chef Shen Tan's Signature twice steamed Nasi Lemak (featuring 10 ingredients) served with ikan billis, omelette, housemade sambal and coffee sambal on cool cucumber slices, signature pork confit, marinated with coffee grounds and 5 spice powder. Available at @RevolutionCoffeeSg The meat looked rather fatty and charred black, but the taste and texture was just nice. Best to go with the coffee sambal. The housemade sambal was a bit too spicy for me. The ikan billis was quite crispy and crunchy. The rice was pipping hot and fluffy. . . Matcha Tarts We had a nice surprise when the tarts came. Instead of 1 huge tart, we had 5 mini bite sized tarts. The matcha was balanced well, not too sweet-just like how we liked it. The filling was warm and really nice. The flat white was pretty good too!:)

Foie Gras Don ($32) Pleasantly surprised by this beautiful floral arrangement on my Foie Gras Don 🌸 at @maisonikkoku! The Foie Gras was perfectly executed with a creamy centre and slightly crispy outer shell, blending well with the slightly savoury and mildly spicy sauce~ Oh so sinful, but so good! 😍💜💜💜 Only gripe is that the portion is a little small for $32, but I guess you're paying for art? 😝

Salted Caramel French Toast Dim lighting, bar-ish cafe (they actually do have a bar upstairs). Unsure whether it is temporary, but the opening time changed to 10 am. Service was okay, although it did took some time for the f&b to arrive Salted caramel French toast (22 sgd)-quite hefty of a price for a french toast. The type where it isnt custardy on its own and gets the creaminess from everything around it. Could have been better 3.5/5 Maison ikkoku latte (7 sgd)-im fine as long as it's not acidic, this one is good.
