Char siew had a nice smokiness despite it being slighty dry, due to the lean cut. Roast Chicken wasnt thaaat bad, but it pales in comparison to the steamed Chicken. The steamed Chicken had a superb and unique texture, with the meat almost bouncy and the skin was so translucent and jelly like. Really well cooked and definitely worth a try, definitely the least chicken-tasting Hainanese Ckn I've had, in the best way

Weekend Brunch Tried both of the Benedict, one with smoked salmon and another with ham. Both taste great. Like the great service and environment. Will try other dishes next time.

Cajun Chicken Salad & King Crab Chowder Heard abt how good the crab chowder is(not from burpple) and thought that I just had to try it, but turned out to be a disappointment 😔 it tasted more like corn chowder with thin strips of crab. The Cajun chicken salad was nothing short of ordinary. At least they had nice decor. It's a decent place to eat at but not great..

Korean Cuisine is our All Time Favorite 😍 We love every items of their banchan, especially the creamy mashed potato & cucumber pickles (korean achar as my daughter calls it 😅) 😘 Rabokgi ($13) where you could have both the spicy rice cake and ramen at the same time 😋 Boneless Short Rib ($27) bbqed in the kitchen & served at your table. Soft & juicy but too bland though 😏 Jjajang Myeon ($12) Black noodle always a comfort stable 😙 Beef Army Stew ($38) Pleasing to the eyes & satisfying to the palate 😋 Banana Makkoli (was $20 now $15) added that extra kick to our yummy meal 😘 #burpple

Korean Fried Chicken Korean fried chicken, that is really quite similar to chicken popcorn bites. The star instead, is the bubbling army stew in the background. Surprisingly, the squidball inside has none of that starchy blandness of typical factory-made squid/meatballs. It's flavourful and springy (made in-house?). Couple that with ramen noodles, melty rice cake slices, a gochujang-kimchi soup base that gets more intensely flavoured/saltier(:P) the more you stew it - the spoons just kept going. 💫 Definitely one of the better, if not, the best army stew soup I have had

Liu Sha Bao ($6) This was quite yummy! The liushabao is baked, so it has that sweet, slightly crisp crust (like the ones from timhowan & canton paradise). The liusha filling is molten and threatens to spill out with each bite, and the consistency & flavour was quite nice to me - it’s sweet and buttery and thick and slightly grainy (I am partial to both grainy / smooth liushas). It’s a bit big, and a tad sweet bc of the top sugar crust, but it’s good and I would order this again!

Smores Lava Toast At $16.80, the Smores Shibuya Lava Toast was worth it especially with the Cookies & Cream scoop of ice cream. The marshmallows were so decadently delightful too!

Nice Little Gem Great place to chill out and have a waffle, just top up with ice cream as well. Must come and try.

Rocher & Pistachio ice cream Before trying the pistachio ice cream here, I have never had deep impressions of ice cream places selling good pistachio ice creams except Sunday Folks (but that's soft serve). So what makes a good pistachio ice cream? To me, it must have a nutty aroma, well-balanced creaminess and of course, the nut itself. You could imagine how delighted I was for this hidden gem. Heard good recommendations about their black sesame ice cream too, but I decided to go for the pistachio flavor. I really like how rich in flavor it was, not too milky, doesn't melt that quickly and there were chopped pistachios! The other flavor that got us enticed was the rocher flavor. I am not really a fan of milk chocolate but this really wasn't too sweet and roasted hazelnut flavor made me feel as though I was eating the rocher chocolate itself! One scoop of premium flavors like these costs $4.50, and additional $1 with that waffle cone. But $5.50 for such a big and delectable ice cream cone, I am more than willing to pay for it. Also, the cafe crew were really patient with us when we took quite a while to decide which flavors we wanted. It's not an easy decision to make when all the flavors looked so appealing!
