Went to Clementi Collin branch from Bukit Panjang as I have good experience with this branch before. Saw a lady at the counter, was checking with her on the Burpple deal, then she tell me I got to order online and took away my menu....and she show that she is aggitated??????? No where I can find in Burpple how to order and claim my 1 for 1 deal. Getting frustrated.
Went back to tell her then she realized she was wrong and wanted to take my order. So I ordered the mixed grill from the online menu mistakenly thought that it came with beef.... Ask for medium well, the counter lady told me, u don't need to give instruction, the kitchen will know how to handle.....??????? What they know what I want without listen me out, frustration 2.
My wife paid with additional orders via paywave.. When we looked at the receipt, it show $22.20 instead of the $32.20, we paid..... Went back to her... She was like in a total lost even it was just 2 mins ago and there is no other walk in order. She need to ask the kitchen crew to help.......????? Frustration 3.
When we final get our food, then we realized, Sorry no beef in mixed grill...... π ????? What??? Why didn't you tell me when I ordered just now... Frustruction 4.
Reached home, we order 4 sets of meal but only got to find 2 sets of cutlery in the pack.????? Frustration 5.......
I think Collin really need to screen ur front desk staff before they are able to handle order.... She seems more focus looking at the delivery orders then listening to us. Collin pls train ur staff well like what it was previously......

Try this place for Burpple Beyond 1 for 1 deal. Nice and appetizing food. Will come back for their coffee recommended by their batista Sam.

It's been my second visit here and it's pure coincidence - but what isn't coincidence is that the standard of the food is still top notch ! Cake Avenue boasts a variety of Western dishes at an affordable price and that's already 2/3 of the requirements of a great restaurant, with the third being fast and impeccable service. Cake Avenue possess quick serving speeds and an array of friendly staff members that don't hesitate to answer any of your possible question [ including that of " where did you buy your curtains from ? " - " there's a korean shop in IMM " ]. One other thing that made the experience tonight such a wonderful one was the ambience in the restaurant - the interior design was unique and in style and to be envied. Much to my dismay, I didn't get a chance to sample the cakes and desserts, ranging from macarons to meringue, that is the undisputed specialty of this restaurant. However, rest assured that I will be back one day in the near future to try out on all that I have missed out on !
Like the ambience when I step in to this mini cafe like restaurant. The menu was filled with more variety than I had expected because thus lucky find was tucked away at the end of a row of shops. When I asked more about their shop, I got polite and yet friendly and humorous responses from their staff. Aside from friendly staff and extremely quick service, our food, even both my daughter and my mains, had arrived in less than 15 minutes. Furthermore, cake avenue offers even more of an incentive to return because of the expert preparation of the food, so that it looks both artistic and delicious. And it was extremely worth the 30 bucks we spent. I would return for another meal in a heartbeat. Kudos to the Cake Avenue for accomplishing such a great restaurant!
