Brewerkz's gigantic burger King Brew ($34) is, to quote Burpple Tastemaker Kenneth Lee, for "the mother of all cheat days". Picture this: Two huge New Zealand Black Angus beef patties (each 220g), melted cheese (go for the cheddar), sauteed mushrooms, a whole lot of bacon and a hefty scoop of beer chilli, all sandwiched between two freshly baked brioche buns, plus a side of fries or onion rings. Definitely a party in the mouth. To call it over the top is a bit of an understatement, so spare yourself the food coma by sharing this with at least one friend.

Peanut butter in a burger?—An angus beef patty, bacon, sunny side up egg, cheese and tomato smothered with peanut butter between a brioche bun… The peanut butter part got question marks popping my in my mind. But from the first bite I knew this would be a burger I'd need to go back for. The peanut butter isn't overpowering or too crunchy and just adds that hint of aroma and flavour to compliment the juicy beff patty and bacon.

Ditch the usual fast-food chain burgers and give Dojo, a pork-burger joint a shot because their signature tender pork patties were surprisingly good. With the distinct earthy combination of shiitake, champignon and paddy straw mushrooms, the Kaiju Set reminded me a little of Mushroom Swiss Burger but better with the juicy patty and fluffy soft buns. The Hikkori set, on the other hand, had a more smoky fragrance and everything is better with bacon strips. So ‘May the Pork be with You’!

I got a belly, bellyful of burger~ Woohoo, finally satisfied my burger cravings! I had their signature burger, which comes with bacon and caramelized onions while my boyfriend had "Brekkie" which comes with chorizo and sunny side up eggs. Their buns were crispy which was different, I liked it! The patty did not have a strong beefy taste I was searching for though. Could taste the pepper in it, but it was still a biiit under-seasoned. But it was still very satisfying, can't really go wrong with the flavour combo in the No. 36. Things can get messy while eating this! I prefer eating my burgers with my hands instead of using a knife and fork. Not easy as it was quite thick, but I managed!;D Btw, used Entertainer for this so we only paid $17 nett for both burgers, what a steal.

|| red wine Maker's Mark Bourbon caramelized onions, 180g beef homemade patty, gorgonzola cheese, horseradish garlic aioli on toasted brioche buns & arugula, that was kind of abstract in this formula. Wholesome and ultimately satisfying. Make sure to get it on 1-1 craft beer specials from 5-8pm daily!

When a restaurant has a 3-month-long waiting list, *sob sob*, you make the most of whatever from there you can get your grubby paws on.
Fortunately, the iconic Sanger of Burnt Ends (thank you Chef @dpynto 🙏) always does a great job of consoling me.
Somehow, I am able to find solace in the warm embrace of its pillowy soft brioche buns kept far apart by a thick and insanely delicious layer of the most moist pulled pork, crisp purple slaw and chipotle mayo.
Of course it's not the same as sitting at one of the highly-coveted seats in the restaurant and feasting till I am a fat, mean, moaning machine but it will have to do. For now.

Instead of using two halves of the usual burger bun, the good people at The Butchers Club squish and pan-fry a grilled cheese sammie for each end. The thick dry aged beef patty may seem underseasoned if tasted on its own, but once wolfed down together with the sweet and salty maple-glazed bacon, caramelised onions, mayo and double American cheese (in addition to the cheese in between both grilled cheese rolls), you'll appreciate the chef's restraint in the salt department. While it's filled with some of my favourite things in the world, it's probably best to share this artery-clogging number with someone else (though the burger monster boyfriend thinks otherwise).

The triple fried spuds were nothing to write home about – fluffy in the middle with crisp edges – but I'm not sure I'd be willing to fork out an additional $8 for a few pieces of wedges again.
While this may not be the cheapest combo, it can easily satiate two tummies, with ample space for dessert after (like Tsujiri's matcha soft serve or Dulcet & Studio's puffs maybe 😁).

Inspired by their love of simply good burgers and beer, Two Blur Guys has succeeded in providing exactly that. Go straight for their Prime Beef blurgur ($12.50) - a well-seasoned 100% US pure beef patty topped with a juicy portobello, fresh tomato, gruyere cheese, and homemade truffle mayo. Some might find the burger a little small, but there is nothing you won't mop up on this plate, including the sides of potato salad and a balsamic-dressed salad. They may call themselves Two Blur Guys, but when it comes to making affordable, tasty burgers - they seem to know what they're doing.

Along Sukhumvit Soi 38 runs one of the best stretches for one-stop street food fix. In the first tiny alley on the right is Blazing Pad Thai, each portion lovingly cooked over the biggest fire I've ever seen. Don't miss this!

I will be taking walks around the hotel I am staying at – the new Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road @hotelindigobkk , and will share with you the EATS we discovered in the neighbourhood.
Heard that this Soi Polo Chicken could be very well be Bangkok’s best fried chicken restaurant, and knew we just had to come.

Look at that tender juicy drumstick dipped with spicy sauce. Any cravings for fried chicken from Bangkok?
