food japanese vibes, in a cosy corner of centrepoint which was not overly crowded. free miso soup for everyone. staff were friendly and helpful. they took photos for us, kept a birthday cake and lit the candle up for us. stayed for 2 hours. staff were attentive and refilled the drinks for us.

Goat and Mr Chow The guy staff was very polite and patient! :) Food wise, the kale base was way too raw but the helping is very generous. The chicken and sweet potato was too dry. The tempeh chips has turned soft - no longer crispy. The saving grace is the wild rice that is moist. Definitely had better bowls than this with a good mix for the palate! Hope they can improve. There was a queue though - so maybe it's just me. :)

Matcha lattes at Matchabar relatively strong matcha latte and nice barista staff who took a lot of care & effort to make it ☺️ would come back again to try their salad bowls!

Healthy Food at HV Habit is finally on Burpple!!! Meaning I’ll have a go-to place whenever I’m trying to be healthy. I visited it and redeemed the 1 for 1: Signature Bowls. I tried the North End which consists of broccoli, chicken, parmesan cheese. Found the 🥦 the tastiest. Would come back for more🤤

Japchae ($12.90) Korean stir‑fried glass noodles. Served with mung bean sprout side dish and corn cheese. Chewy, springy noodles with mixed vegetables. Generous portion, loaded with veggies, savoury and tastisfying.

Miyeok Bokkeumbap ($11.90) Seaweed laver soy ham fried rice. Short‑grain rice tossed with zucchini, corn, soy ham, seaweed laver and sesame seeds. Portion was just right for one pax, filling and tasty with a deep savoury note.

Budae Jjigae ($12.90) Army stew with an add‑on set that comes with two mandu (veg gyoza) and a glass of iced blue pea flower drink. Comfort food as always. Chewy ramyeon, baked beans, soy sausage, enoki, rice cake, firm tofu, seaweed flakes and cheese all in an umami‑rich hot pepper broth which felt kinda mild for me. Haha.

Crab hor fun Came for the burpple deal on a Sunday and didn’t realise the burpple t&c change to weekday only. But we went ahead and even signed up for the $88 membership, so we got this crab hor fun for free. I guess we are a burpple convert to regular customer. The crab hor fun was great, the broth is so flavourful and the crab tasted fresh. Our other dishes were great too.
