Tom yum salted egg seafood pasta with chicken cutlet @ $19.90+

We finally came back to try the level 49 spiciness and to be honest we were rather disappointed. While the pasta is good overall, the spiciness just didnt wow us. We tried the mid-level before and remembered getting a good kick, but this level 49 didn't feel spicy at all!

That said, the chicken cutlet in the dish was very tasty, though the portion of the cutlet itself was rather small. Quite a good portion of seafood though.

Overall satisfied but would have been even better if the level 49 lives up to its name.

Loaded fries @ $8.90+

It's described as soggy fries with beef chilli, nacho cheese, garlic aioli and shredded mozzarella. The fries is really rather soggy and we quite like it that way. We also like how there's cheese all over the fries. But there could be more chilli beef and everything else.

Chicken with waffle @ $12.90+

Waited for quite a while to get seats at this place on a weekday lunchtime. Thought the food will be quite good given the crowd. While the atmosphere is quite nice and decorated almost like a real diner, the food was really quite normal. The taste of this dish is rather one dimensional and got boring after a while. But we must say the pricing is quite reasonable.

Cheese curry don @ $17.50++

Again, it's alright, nothing to fault but not extraordinary either. Can do with more cheese for this option, if not can just get the regular/original option.

Chestnut jowl don @ $13.50++

Overall is alright, can't say anything is bad but it's not extraordinary either. The chestnut flavour doesnt really come through as well.

Char siew (6pcs) @ $9.80++

Tasty but we think the flavour can be slightly more intense. Meat is a little on the thin side, can do with a bit more fats to lend the flavour.

Green curry with chicken

Creamy and tasty. Generous with the portion too.
About $8 or $10 i think? Extensive menu, will be back to try other dishes!

Signature 3 bowls @ $16.90++

The three bowls are braised pork belly rice, salt and pepper chicken and oyster mee sua.

The best among the three is the braised pork belly rice. The braised pork belly has been well cooked through so it's soft and flavourful and goes super well with the rice.

The salt and pepper chicken is not bad, but have tasted better ones in Taiwan.

The oyster mee sua is also not bad, vinegar is prepped separately so we can decide how much we want to put in. There's also oyster inside the mee sua so quite worth it.

Other dishes we ordered include:
- homestyle braised cabbage @ $9.90++
- braised pork intestines @ $10.90++
- deep fried fresh oyster @ $10.90++

Overall very good dining experience. Would suggest to come in groups as the menu is quite extensive so can get different things to try. Reservation is almost mandatory as we tried walking in before but it's fully booked.

Wagyu beef mushroom burger @ $20.80++
Cheese fries @ additional $3++

Third time back at this place as it has very good vibes and atmosphere. Don't recall seeing this item on the menu before (but we might be wrong), and it's super good.

The beef is perfect, pink the middle and very well seasoned. Goes super well with the mushrooms and the sauce.

Overall super satisfying meal!

Spicy Oyster Scallop Omelette Pasta @ $22.80++

Third time back at this place as it has very good vibes and atmosphere. Don't recall seeing this item on the menu before (but we might be wrong), and it's great! One of the more successful fusion items, it looks like a combi of orhjian and charkwayteow, except that they used spaghetti. The taste is flavourful, spicy and savoury but overall well balanced.

The ingredients are also fresh and good, super yummy!

Tom yum paella @ $49++

The paella seems a bit too wet so we weren't sure if it's really paella or risotto. But the flavours were good and the tomyum taste does come through quite well. Again, good amount of seafood but not to this price point, and the sotong is still very rubbery here as well.

Sotong hitam seafood pasta @ $43++

Generally not bad and tasty, but the sotong is definitely overcooked and quite rubbery. Good amount of seafood but not to this price point.
