tried the burrito ($23) because we were afraid the tacos wldnt be enough to fill us. The size was AMAZING really really thick HAHHA so that was good because $23 for a burrito is.....hmm.... (yknow when u have the existence of stuffd so much cheaper) but yes anyways this turned out to be one of the better tasting dishes we ordered ~ the ingredients in the burrito were also v generous yay

Rating: 7/10

Verdict: definitely worth an order if you are looking to be filled up because size and ingredients are amazing, and taste is pretty okay too

tried the highly raved baja fish tacos ($13 for 2) after seeing many reviews on it! honestly expected alot because of the reviews but personally, did not see the appeal that many saw :/ fish was okay but not amazing. The ingredients like the veggies are very generous but yea..

Rating: 6.5/10 (personal opinion)

Verdict: not sure if it's too hyped up or I was expecting too much but yea... good experience trying but probably never again.

honey tequila wings ($19) - star of the night🌟 The only side dish we ordered but our favourite out of everything!

Sauce is sweet and the wings came in hot and crispy on the outside yUM! there were a total of 8 pieces for ours, 4 drumlets 4 wings.

The blue cheese truffle sauce was pretty okay but for ppl who don't rlly do cheese (like me), just having the wings itself is good too

Rating: 7.5/10

Verdict: good to try if you have burpple promo but otherwise for 8 wings I'd say it's on the pricier side

first time to hvala and tried the matcha hojicha latte ($6.80) and some ice-cream not in pic. Firstly, interior is amazing HAHA.

taste wise - hmmm not overly sweet, could actually do with slightly more sweetness (personal preference), matcha taste is very authentic, the drink gets btr the more you drink

Rating: 7/10

Verdict: good to try but the prices aren't the cheapest (personal opinion once again). probably won't visit again unless I'm feeling v atas and want to ball 😛

second time going to chiraishi kingkong and I still love it as much as the first time I went!!!! The place is famous for its assorted bowls, generous and thick servings of salmon/tuna etc at very affordable prices, and AMAZING truffle&mushroom rice so do try them heehee

Yakiniku Don 8.5/10 😛 - DELISH!!! I really really like it they are v generous w their beef slices and it's really well marinated, and torched so well!!! The rice is amazing too it's not just plain rice mi loves!!!!!

The place is quite small tho, only allowing 5 at the bar counter and around 3 tables outside but werf!!!

Verdict: 10/10 recommend this place very affordable dons rlly try it out!!!!

used the burpple 1-1 to get the main + drink + tempura set ~ we could choose any drink we want from their drinks fridge (mainly comprises of soft drinks)

Sanuki beef egg udon ($11.60) - caught us by surprise at how tasty it was! There was a generous amt of beef which were well marinated, the soup was tasty, and the udon was firm and chewy!

Tempura (ranges from $1+ to $2+ each) - Not very impressive, it was cold and meh (understandable tho since they were probably left on the shelf for long)

Rating: 8/10 !!! For the udon heehee

Verdict: Would 100% come again for the udon it was very yummy the prices are very affordable! Using burpple promo, this meal cost me only $8+! Yay

hesitated to share this because I treat this place as my quiet cosy lesser known spot to enjoy boat noodles but too good not to shareeee!

Got the Pork and Beef special bowl ($6 each) with thai green milk tea ($2.80) and a side of crispy chicken wings not shown in photo (4 for $4.90 I think??)

Type of noodle and spice level can be chosen but my go to is always glass noodles hehe if u like spice go for medium spicy level at least!

The wings are slightly more ex but I always get them when I come because they are that good and crispy do try!!!!

The thai milk teas are also pretty good and on the cheaper end alr compared to other places I've seen.

Best part is that the shop is located in a quieter area so you don't have to squeeze with people, can chill, enjoy your meal and take ur time :-) loves!!!

Tried a few dishes and here's my review for them!

1. Jjamppong ($16) - Surprisingly tasty soup base (reminds me of maggie soup base HAHA), not spicy in my opinion so more spice would have been preferred, very generous amount of seafood, and noodles are of good texture 8/10

2. Japchae ($19) - very tasty noodles but a little turn off because very oily as well (I assume the oil gives the noodles the flavour tho). Considering price, I wouldn't say it's very worth but still tasty so... 6.8/10

3. Jjajjamyeon ($13) - really like the texture of the noodles and this jjajjamyeon has a mild sweetness to it. It's quite nice when you first start eating but you may get sick of it after eating more 7/10

Rating: 7/10

Verdict: Not a bad place to try some Korean food if you run out of options however prices are on the steeper end and if you are planning to visit, make sure to head down an hour earlier to reserve because its very popular ~

Butter chicken ($16.90)
-Really really good!!! Pretty impressive with generous servings of chicken that was sooo tender.

Tikka Masala ($16.90)
-Chicken was really tender too with a nice slightly charred taste.
-Nice flavour with good spice level but the spice taste might be a tad bit strong
-Worth it with 1 for 1

Naan basket ($16.90)
-Really filling for 2 pax
-Nicely charred and flavoured
-Tad but on the pricy side thou but service and ambience is pretty good too

*Refillable Papadum issa big plus!! *

Got the set using burpple 1 for 1 which came with salad, soup, 2 gyoza and drink

Pros:
- generous serving of fish (fresh & yummy!!)

Cons:
- The gyoza was meh

Rating: 8/10

Verdict: Not bad at all, quality and quantity of the fish is good. Good to try even without burpple because they have an ongoing promo for the same sets at 35.90++ (I think)

Got the mentaiyaki kaisendon using burpple 1 for 1

Pros:
- Generous serving of mentaiko and fish!!!
- Even spotted abalone, scallop, and of course many cubes of tuna, salmon and cucumber :)
- Promo comes w green tea, miso soup, and salad

Cons:
- The mentaiko serving was too generous for me. The mentaiko taste overpowered the fish taste hahaha so all I cld mostly taste was the sauce
- after awhile it gets too creamy and gelat for my liking

Rating: 7/10

Verdict: if you are a strong mentaiko lover, you would probably love this. Else, I'd recommend you to try the normal kaisendon.

Price: Paid ~ $32 in total for 2 sets (~ $16/set)

Tried Apiary for the first time today and got the triple scoop ($11) with plain waffles ($6)

Flavours ranked (personal preference):
1) Earl grey - Standard and common favourite with a nice tea scent, nothing outstanding but not bad 7.5/10
2) Blue milk - evident from its name, has a very strong milk-y taste 7/10
3) Apiary - the honey taste is very strong and honestly all I can rmb so did not rlly like it hahaha but personal preference nO hAtE u do u 6.5/10

Waffles - nothing outstanding, pretty standard quality and size is alright 👌

Verdict: May return to try other hyped icecream flavours if any but unlikely to get the waffles agn considering prices arent the cheapest
