Pong Acai Bowl ($6.80) Acai sorbet served in coconut husk with toppings such as banana, peanut, chia seeds and granola. Acai was a little sweet for my preference but overall a refreshing treat. Plus since it's the season to be jolly, you'll get 10% off your Acai bowls for this month!

Pong Coconut & Passion Fruit Sorbet - $ 5.50 The Coconut ice cream was yummy, and I chose the Passion Fruit flavour to balance the sweetness and from the creamy Coconut.

Coconut Gelato In A Husk On the menu, it's the Coconut Gelato with Sorbet in a Husk with three toppings for $5.50. Since I absolutely love the coconut gelato, I asked to have two scoops instead of a sorbet. Worth it. For toppings, I chose to have all Nata De Coco, which was very refreshing. Whilst indulging on the gelato, I also loved the scraped coconut young in the husk. But wait, there's more?! Inside the cup that supports the husk is a few treasured sips of coconut juice. What more could you possibly want? Wonderfully delicious, perfect texture and flavour, and a very enjoyable experience. Fun dessert! If you're around Cineleisure and Scape, you need to try this.

Back to one of my fav froyo place in Singapore. Today the froyo is a bit icy but the flavour and the honeycomb is very good. 😋😋😋

For Honeycomb Froyo A healthier take on honeycomb soft serve, Beegurt serves up creamy froyo with raw honeycomb imported from New Zealand. It's slightly more balanced compared to honeycomb soft serves because of the tartness of the yoghurt, which goes exceedingly well with the honeycomb. At $6.80, the Beegurt Special comes with honeycomb and a choice of two toppings ranging from caramelised biscuits to granola and fresh fruit, and is finished with a drizzle of honey.

First time trying Beegurt and I think that their honeycomb is the nicest I've eaten comparing with HoneyCreme's and MilkCow's. But I'm not going back again because I feel it's a little overpriced, toppings (strawberry & nata de coco) were served frozen, froyo was a little icy and the staff's attitude was quite bad. Note: No matter how nice your food is, but when your customer service sucks, no one will want to patronize your shop.

Common Man Fluffy Pancakes ($24) Common Man Fluffy Pancakes ($24) I was honestly really excited for the pancakes, considering these were thick! The pancakes came with caramelised bananas and walnuts, salted caramel sauce, nutty crumble & berry coulis. Ngl this didn't taste like a pancake, but more like a cakey texture, which was dense and slightly dry esp at parts without the sauce. It also got jelak so you gotta share this. Kinda expected more for the price, and I'd defo prefer some fluffy pancakes for brunch! Their other dishes might be better tho! Overall Rating: 6/10

Croissant Croque Monsieur ($18) It was extremely crowded during brunch on weekends, but since it was near the area we decided to give their food a try. Croissant Croque Monsieur ($18) Look at that cheese! This croissant was filled with Ham, Bechamel & aged cheddar cheese. Certainly a hearty option for brunch, and it's a combination of flavours and texture that can't really go wrong. The portion might not be enough for some though!

Plain Ole Chocolate From Creamier Let’s indulge a plain ole chocolate ice cream cone and get blown away by its rich, dark, and smooth flavour. The texture is creamy and velvety, coating the taste buds with chocolatey goodness. The best part? It's only $4.90! What a steal for such high-quality handcrafted ice cream. Note: Contains dairy, so not suitable for those with dietary restrictions.

Butterscotch almond Buttery rich with a caramel flavour, enjoyed the roasted almond bits within which gave a fragrant nuttiness. [5.5/10]

Really appreciate the good service and consistent serving size according to their usual (the portions are sizeable! 👍), nicely sautéed mushroom, fatty artisanal chorizo sausage and fav tater tots 💖

Overall good experience. Value for money, not bad but sausage and bacon were a little salty. $33 for 2 breakfast sets + 2 coffees.

Gashouse Eggs | $13 Finally had the chance to hit up One Man Coffee after being greeted by long snaking queues during their brunch time. Got lucky and managed to snag a seat for breakfast. Opted for the gashouse eggs as I was not feeling hungry enough for the bigger plates. Absolutely loved how they made it, cheesy on the top yet oozy sunny side up egg in the middle. I’m personally not a fan of sourdough bread that’s too tough, but this crusty rendition had a great chewy texture to it. Rate:🌟🌟🌟

Valhorna Chocolate Waffles with butterscotch ice cream, maple syrup, raspberry sauce, fresh strawberries ($20). Due to the dark chocolate batter, the waffles turn out to be thick and dense but love the butterscotch ice cream that goes well with it. Sourish raspberry sauce and sweet strawberries prevent you from chocolate overdose.

HANDS DOWN FAV French toast 🍞 📍Clarke Quay u know it’s good when u nearly cried after finding out it closed down 😭😭😭 just wanna do a review anyway for the memories they have sweet & savory options for the French toast; I’ve tried both. The sweet one comes with lots of berries, the savory one has BACON STRIPS and yes I prefer the savory French toast! The bacon went really well with the sweetness of the maple syrup AND the toast itself was super fluffy and warm with a slight crisp on the outside. an absolute masterpiece. I’m honestly so sad it closed down 😭

Every So Often I come to ronin every so often (as the title indicates) and it’s kinda a hit and miss with the scrambled eggs. I used to think the scrambled eggs were like the best in Singapore because it was runny like the Gordon ramsay style (if you know you know). But these days, it’s only like that half the time. Mushroom, bread and drinks are still good tho.

Savoury French Toast Although its called Savoury French Toast, its more of a sweet and salty meal. The toast with butter and syrup is so yummy I wouldn’t mind if they just gave me more of that. At first I found the braised apple kinda weird, but it cuts through the oily and saltiness of the bacon so it becomes a cycle of sweet and salty which is nice.

Mango coco 13.4++ add on almond thins +1.9++ THEY ARE CLOSING THIS WEEK The waffles were decent. Mango was way too sour. Coconut ice cream sucks, it's way too cold and lacks flavour Almond thins were brilliant. Super aromatic from the nuts, with a really satisfying crunch. Not sure what the translucent parts are but hey if it's this good I'm not complaining The queue is insane nowadays so please come with a reservation

red velvet cheesecake waffles ($11.50) as usual, the soft serve was rich in sightly salty cheese flavour!! the little cubes of red velvet cake topped w lemon custard were also a nice topping. would always recommend sunday folks for ice cream, but a little stingy with their waffles, can skip and get cones/cups instead

There’s sticky date pudding and there’s The Lokal’s Sticky Date Pudding ($10). Long regarded as my top favourite sticky date pudding in Singapore, it never fails every single time I have had it. The warm fuzzy sponge cake with the sweet toffee sauce and icy cold vanilla ice cream are the perfect partners in this impeccable after-meal dessert. There might be many “best sticky date puddings” in town, but this one takes the crown. ••••••••••••••••••• ✨ The Lokal 📍 136 Neil Road, Singapore 088865 🌐 https://thelokalsingapore.com/pickupdelivery/ 🍴 [Self Funded]

Beef Burger 25++ One of the better beef burgers. It's really juicy and the inside was a perfect medium rare. Slightly heavy handed on the mustard, and could do w a bit more flavour. Nonetheless pretty good, no regrets ordering this. Friend said wolf burger has a cheaper and better wagyu burger tho

Cosy corner along Lorong Kilat Patronised c&c thanks to Burpple 1 for 1 beverages. Undeniably the cups are huge but not something I would pay full price for. Pictured above are the hojicha and matcha lattes at approx $8 each at regular price. However, it’s worth considering if you are looking for a place to hang out as it is really peaceful.

Ok, with 1-for-1 Ordered 1-for-1 brunch, Big Breakfast and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Big Breakfast: expected it to be better for the price, the toast was kinda hard to cut, bacon was slightly over fried and hard, the egg mushrooms and sausage were okay Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict: this was good, but sadly they ran out of brioche bread and I had to top up $3 for croissant
