This is our first ever day trip to JB and im not familiar on where to get the best deal for durian, but lucky grab driver is soo kind, she was the one who advised us to go look for durians at KSL Pasar Malam instead .
The price is definitely more expensive in JB rather than if you go to durian plantation at Pontian .
However, considering the time, effort and transportation incurred to bring this goodies to the city seems fair tho. But at KSL Pasar Malam, you can catch a better deal! . ✨✨✨.

We took KTM to JB Sentral and it only took us around 15mins to reach KSL Monday Night Market. Arrived at around 3pm here and man, the weather might be a little on the hotter side .
If you plan to come here, I would recommend to come at 4pm its so much better .

🦐✨🔥 Char Kway Tiao with Cockles and Prawn .
This shop is located just a stones throw away from Ah Tong Durian, so we decided to try it after venturing around KSL Monday night market .
The charred taste is real with this one ✨🔥✨🔥✨. Really like just how the prawns are also still soo succulent and flavourful. Serving is so fast and the portion is generous! .
I know, I know, after every glorious food from KSL Monday night market it will be hard to fit this in, but trust me, at least just try 😋😋😋

Lo and behold, the king of fruits ✨✨✨ .
Honestly I don’t eat durian much at Singapore coz my husband is not a big fan of it. This is the first durian in 3 years, can you imagine.. .
The durian on the previous post is great and just as nice as this. But the first bite into this gorgeous food, its just soo fulfilling! .
Its so meaty and the seed is so smol. ✨✨✨The taste is bittersweet and strong .
Definitely try some durians here or at KSL Monday Night Market. However do come before 3.30pm, as most of it is sold already! .

I got the Blue Vanilla, which have a sprinkle of Hawaiian black sea salt. The saltiness of the salt give this umami taste combined with the sweetness of the ice cream .
The Pistachio and Candied Pecan is sooo yumm, the pecan chunks in here is no joke tho, they’re really big! .

100th post for the first @paradisegrpsg Japanese Shrimp Broth Lamian in Singapore coz its sooo good! ✨🦐 .
Really love their broth and i can assure you not a drip is left at the bowl ✨✨ the taste of the shrimp is so strong, just can’t get enough of it! .
Noodle’s texture is just nice and love the fact that its not so thick! So more of this yummy thick shrimp gravy latch unto the noodle 🍜✨ . .

Have always been hooked with the original white bee hoon, this time round we tried more dishes from the menu .
White bee hoon is really comforting, so smooth and the broth is so rich. The seafood serving is generous too 🦐✨ .
Have always liked bitter gourd served in omelette, and this one is cooked just right! Sometimes the bitter gourd can taste slightly under-cooked, but this one is just nice 🍳🥒 .
Wok fried chicken in Chef’s special sauce is soo good! Got a hint of wok hei which is what we came for 🌬🔥 .
Sweet potato leaves is not over cooked and still can taste slight crunchiness on it which we love 🌿✨ .
The salted egg sotong sauce is sooo good! Definitely get our craving for salted egg fixed! .

Always loove their generous food, this is small btw and convenient feed 2 people. And not to mention, it so so delicious! .
The curry broth is very spiced- up, the murtabak crust is crunchy and the mutton filling is so generous ✨✨✨ .
