Decent food First time here - food was good in general. Ordered the mezze platter (warm pita bread wedges with dips: hummus, beetroot, tzatziki and spicy capsicum) with falafel and fried feta balls which was decent. Falafel was on the dry side. The pumpkin salad had a good variety of ingredients: mesclun salad, avocado, grilled pumpkin wedges, cherry tomatoes, feta slices and brown Swiss mushrooms. The pasta sauce was delightful and penne pasta cooked al dente! First time trying vegetarian pasta with such flavours.

Here is what we got -Kyoto Matcha -Osmanthus Oolong Was using the 1 for 1 offer from Burpple Beyond, so we only paid $5.90 for both cups! Their ice cream is on the creamier heavy side. Seafood pineapple fried rice & seafood pad thai Love the pineapple fried rice! Comes w chicken floss, prawns 💯, sotong (hard), cashews 💯, raisins. Pad thai was normal, comes w prawns, mussel & sotong

Seafood pineapple fried rice 🍍 Priced at $8 and under the burpple one for one deal , this meal provided decent value. The chicken floss and pineapple gave a good mix of sweetness that paired well with the savoriness of the seafood. Will order this again. Do note that the stall charges $0.50 for takeaway. Rating: 6.7/10

Sun Dried Tomato Chicken Wrap The Sundried Tomato Chicken Wrap from First Story Cafe is a delightful snack that impresses with its savoury and pleasant taste. Reheated upon order, it maintains a fresh and satisfying quality, making it an excellent choice for any time of the day. Highly recommended for those seeking a quick yet flavourful bite.

Delicious food Ordered the honey beef and salmon rice bowls. One for one day. It's really nice. Beef so tender while salmon also cooked to perfection. Loved it! It's a social enterprise cafe so good to support as well to encourage them!

Ondeh tart Nicer than other places. Light texture and strong flavor.

Blueberry Matcha Snap Coffee’s Blueberry Matcha ($8.50): A fun combo with distinctive and bright berry flavour. It is a surprisingly pleasant alternative to the now standard pairing of strawberry and matcha.

Matcha Latte ($7) I wanted to try their stuff especially got no time to pass or head their cafe lol. But I decided to go there for trying their matcha before heading to lunch venue. They got selling strawberry and blueberry version too at same time but I don't really like it that much. hmmm the taste like bitter taste but not that nutty taste.

Stop going to the shop We went there only to be told they have removed themselves from the burpple platform even though it is still showing in beyond burpple. Hope others are aware of the potential disappointment and not waste their trip going there to support the cafe.

Golden Osmanthus Pineapple Tart From KELE 桂花黄梨塔 Only $38.80 per tin, approximately 850gm. Deliciously fragrant pineapple tarts with a delightful twist, highly recommended for a unique and flavourful treat. It is a joy to get it here with the friendly service crew from the flagship store.

Boozy mooncake The avocado was clearly the better flavour, like ice cream! Can’t really taste the booze in the rest but the skin and filling was decent. Not too sweet. Could be more flavourful tho.

Iced Taro Latte & Ice Matcha Latte Drinks are alright, very value with 1 for 1 only. If full price there are better ones out there. Taro latte is a little too sweet, matcha latte is the recommended one if have to choose.

Truffle Beefy Shrooms Great burger, enjoyed it a lot. Simple plating with fries. Very value for money only with 1 for 1 mains price. Nothing too extraordinary, but nothing to complain about either.

Soft Shell Crab Pasta Will definitely recommend the soft shell crab pasta as the portion of soft shell crab is a lot. Very hearty meal, pasta portion is adequate to make you filling. Very value for money with 1 for 1.

Chrysanthemum Osmanthus Fresh Milk Tea Light floral notes from the chrysanthemum and osmanthus, paired with creamy milk that’s not too sweet. What I really liked is how the flowers are kept separate from the milk, so you get the aroma without accidentally sipping petals. No weird texture, just clean and mellow flavour. One thing to note is let it steep a bit before diving in. Since the tea’s layered, the flowers sit on top and only infuse while the milk level’s high. Once you drink past a certain point, the steeping stops and it turns into plain milk tea. So give it a few minutes to mingle before sipping 》$5.95

1for1 Large Cup You can never forget wrong with Gelatissimo, first had Gelatissimo more than a decade ago at Lido, even had it whilst I was travelling in Australia. Recently had a bad dinner nearby, what felt like a terrible night out was partially redeemed with this. Lots of flavours, so many varieties and all look damn good. Burpple Beyond 4 vouchers surely not enough!!

Ice-Cream Gelato-re 4⭐️/5 Redeemed my 1-for-1 large cup deal @ $9.90. The staff here were really friendly & there was a huge selection of gelato flavours to pick from. Will definitely be back to try the other flavours.

Coucou Hotpot🥢 Went to Coucou Hotpot last week and ordered their Sichuan Style Spicy Soup Base, Bovine Bone with Tomato Soup Base, USDA Choice Beef Shortplate, Pork Belly Slices, Chinese Cabbage, and Fried Beancurd Skin (total $132.90/2 pax after gst and svc charge)😇 Overall ratings 8/10! Would say that the food quality is good, and ambience is very cozy and private👍🏻 They have chinese tea served, and free flow mala mushroom and lu rou fan if if you include the sides buffet😋However, I would say that it is quite an expensive hot pot place😅 Recommended to come if you like a more private dining setting!

my current fav bbt fix at jewel the dahongpao & puer milk teas are damn aromatic👌🏼 but i decided to take a leap of faith and got the Pineapple Green Tea Smoothie w Sea Salt & Jelly ($6.30). it’s more slushie than smoothie but still RLLY RLLY GOOD we were all pleasantly surprised!
