DIS WAFFLE. 😱mind blown😱

Totally unassuming, it looks just like another waffle with ice cream... But we were hooked after the first bite! There was something strangely savory about it, a little like a muffin. Coupled with the crisp crust and ice cream... Man oh man... 😋

TLDR: Worth the calories 👍👍👍

Want to venture away from the usual Vietnamese pho? Then head straight for these hearty and flavourful broken rice bowls (cơm tấm). Cơm tấm is a humble dish unique to southern Vietnam that sports a couscous-like texture. It is a cheaper grade of rice traditionally preferred by poorer folks, but has gained popularity over the years due to its ability to soak up flavour. Their specialties include the Sautéed Lemongrass Pork Slices Rice Bowl ($9.90), which comes with BBQ pork ribs, ham and a fried egg, and the Crispy Soft-shell Crab and Crispy Squid Rice Bowl ($13.90). You get to choose between steamed Vietnamese broken rice or kimchi fried rice.

My 2nd time eating here amd so we decided to try the dry noodles option, and it's equally amazing :) Noodle choice of meepok or meekia, comes together with minced meat, tau kua and some unexpected scallop! The soup and handmade ingredients are equally tasty :)

Half a chicken + 2 plates of rice at $11. The chicken was really soft and tender, dipped in the sauce/gravy that wasn't too oily. The must-eat chicken rice after you've been away from SG for a longtime :p

Mexican Quesadilla at $8.50 for 2. You can choose different fillings for each, so that you can try the different flavours!

A good deal at $6.50 for a medium bowl. The chashu meat was so tender, and the hot spring egg was so soft, bouncy and yummy!! Will definitely be back for more!! :p

At just 11.90, this cold pasta is a must-try! It tastes really amazing :) Served with seaweed, prawns, scallop and shredded cucumber, together with a side salad.

Wanted some comfort food, and ordered two of the best tarts: Matcha Sesame Azuki and Strawberry Short Tartz :) Interesting to have them in jars, and definitely fresh strawberries too! Nice combination.

Interesting to find cream cheese as part of the combination in this roll. The portion of avocado was really generous. The roll was topped with soft grilled eel and crispy i-forgot-what-that-was, great combination :)

A little pricey at $16.90, but SO definitely filling and worth your money!! It's so nice that writing a description for it is such a chore, because I can't find the best words to describe what my taste buds just experienced~ Go try it for yourself and let me know!

Super super nice yong tau foo!! Soup is tasty and unique while the handmade ingredients gives great texture!! Comes with great service too, five stars!!
