Deoulgireum-Makguksu The Deoulgireum-Makguksu ($16) features a bowl of cold buckwheat noodles with perilla oil. This is quite light and goes well with the meat.

The Jaffna with Spiced Masala Chicken ($15) Sri Lanka bowl - the Jaffna by Damian D'Silva was filled with colours, aromas and flavours. It had spinach dahl, daikon curry and snake gourd curry atop a base of basmatic brown rice, and topped with beetroot pachadi, mint chutney and roasted cashew bits. The blend of aromatic spices, tender spiced masala chicken and creamy, spicy curry were delicious and tentalising to the tastebuds that I devoured the bowl clean.

Seoul Side Won free side from their scratch card but there was no vegetarian side option. Staff is so nice to replace meat with tofu for me😋 love their homemade kimchi, it's sweetened with pumpkin puree instead of sugar! Usually don't like lettuce but I totally enjoyed those lettuce below, they're naturally sweet too👍🏻

Bali Bowl Healthy & flavourful bowl but find it abit dry. The place has a nice concept & most of the cutlery are recyclable🌏

heavier on the pricepoint but worth! we got the cheesy baby (hot honey) pizza & the pork collar. pork was done RLY well - vv juicy & well seasoned (salty yums) 😋😋😋 pizza was not bad as well! the sweetness of the honey helped to lighten the cheesiness & greasiness of the pizza. also the sourdough crust was surprisingly light & easy to eat! as someone who always cuts her pizza crusts away, i didn't for this one! total bill for everything on this table was $69! one downside is just that portions were on a tinier side but <\3 pizza was more of a personal size & pork belly only came w a few slices for $18. would be back to try the daytime sandos menu though! 💛

Triple Scoops My sister she order three scoops for ice cream (discount - $1) with belgian chocolate ($6) and she decided to come down for osmanthus oolong specially lol. but then the taste for osmanthus oolong (standard - $4.20) was not that bad initially until she went to taste for honey chrysanthemun w cacao nibs and then the taste is being removed alr. Mint Dark Chocolate (premium - $5.20) taste like strong toothpaste with chocolate infused. Mango Yuzu Sorbet (premium - $5.20) hmmm i don't managed to try it out. The waffles for belgian chocolate was quite fluffly and soft tbh and also was quite slightly sweet.

Double Scoop I order two scoops for ice cream (discount - $0.50) but the taste for honey chrysanthemun w cacao nibs (premium - $5.20) was quite fragrant but slightly sweet and hojicha (premium - $5.20) was quite average roasted tea.

creamy delicious ice cream visited the cafe after dinner at 7pm and it was already super packed, hence decided to come back again during a weekday afternoon. definitely worth a visit to admire the cute little mahjong motifs around the shop!:)

Kinda sad that they removed the sundae soup from their menu🥺but we got the Dak Bal and omg this was so addictive!! The Dak Bal came in this spicy sauce that taste better as the sauce gradually boils down and thickens. Mix the chicken feet (deboned it ourselves) with some rice balls, half boiled egg and top it with some sauce is so so good🥰Also have it with the steamed eggs if you find the chicken feet a little spicy🥵Although the prices are not cheap, will definitely want to return with more people to try more food!😄

Heading to the Tanjong Pagar on a Friday night is kinda insane, with long queues forming outside most restaurants🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚶🚶‍♂️Todamgol is a Korean restaurant that we enjoy visiting and is (in our opinion) worth the wait! Get the Mo Deum Jun if you can’t decide which pancake to get😂 and while everything in the platter is good, our favourites are the pollack, eggplant and shirmp🥰

authentic and yummy! rly worth with the 1 for 1 promo! we paid full price for the tomyum soup but had the creamy omelette & crab claypot vermicelli at 1-1 price! total bill only $49 for so much food & it was super tasty too! the tomyum soup was tangy but rly q spicy ahaha could taste the chilli padi so if u can't rl take spice then 🙏🏻🙏🏻 the omelette had this topping that we couldn't rly identify but it was so umami & good. rly highly recco! 1h dining limit but they didn't chase us but also maybe bec it wasn't super crowded yet, so go early if u wna dine abit longer hehe

Pad Thai, Mama Noods Basil w Prawn [$19.90] Pad Thai was chewy. However crab portion was quite little compared to mama noods. Mama noods came w 6 huge prawns.

Crab omelette ($25.90), Stir fried crab w Thai powder curry ($24.90) Omelette was deep fried nicely, crispy & fluffy but not much crab. Stir fried crab super generous.

Chicken & Pork Hamburg Don Got this as part of the lunch set for $15.90++. Portion is very generous. Loved the eggs! Hamburg was on the salty side but easily balanced by the accompanying pickles. Overall a nice place to chill during lunch.

Homemade Buttermilk Waffles with Pulut Hitam Icecream ($10.90) Their waffles were crispy, altho it's not the fluffy thick kind you may expect. The pulut hitam could be even stronger, but when eaten alone you can defo taste its flavour.

Moo ping ($10 for 3) Pretty thick savoury sweet marinated pork, which although doesn't have the smokey flavour I enjoy from grilled pork, the meat wasn't dry despite its thickness!

Poolside Cafe Poolside cafe It's one of the most underrated cafe with good food, great air conditioning ambience & affordable pricing. They offers a wide varieties of dishes from local cuisines, Nasi Lemak, Zhi char dishes to western cuisines with pricing starting from $6.50. We orders cheesy bacon pizza, fish & chip, rosemary chicken, red wine chicken plus 4 drinks. All for just $46.90 with gst & no servicing charge. Have always enjoy our weekend brunch here. Pan Seared Seabass ($12.50) The white fennel cream is not bad. Creamed spinach is good too. As for the fish, it wasn't super soft and juicy, but it also wasn't dry either.

Taier Finally went down to try the famous sauerkraut fish and sad to say we didn’t find it worth the hype. The 2 pax portion was $48 and we added glass noodles for $3. The flavour was quite uniform throughout and got boring after awhile. People who aren’t big on spice probably wouldn’t appreciate it either, and it definitely veered on the salty side. At least the fish slices were clean and quite fresh.

suan cai fish ($48) we had to q for more than 1.5 hrs. this was the 1-2 pax portion. portion of the fish was generous and fresh and the soup had this sour and appetizing taste to it.

芥末虾仁球 5/5 🌟 When you order their signature dish, taier delivers a one-of-a-kind service with the server shouting "酸菜比鱼好吃" when the dish is served! Undoubtedly, all the food was great, and it was a delightful experience. 芥末虾仁球 Fried Crispy Prawn topped w Mustard ($13) I love all things “wasabi-mustard-and-mayonnaise“ prawns!!! This was so delicious 🤤 酸菜鱼 Chinese Sauerkraut Fish ($48/68) This dish has just the right amount of spice and the numbness isn't too intense. It can serve up to 4 people. spiced coconut chicken ($18.50) if you could only get one pizza from Chooby i'd recommend this for it's uniqueness and rich coconut flavour from the tom kha sauce! crust was airy and fluffy

squid tentacles ($16) this was not bad but quite greasy. i really loved the spiced tomato sauce though kept dipping my pizza crusts in them

pulled pork ($18.50) saw reviews that this was dry but i personally didn't think it was! pork had a delicious sweet marinade, crust was airy and fluffy.
