Sweet And Savoury Pancakes Smoked Pepper Flapjacks All my favourite stuff in one dish: pancakes, Turkey bacon with mushrooms. Looks nice, tastes better. Ala Mak Nasi Lemak- The Pancake Version Coconut pancakes, otah with poached eggs. Good for coconut lovers. The MJ Chocolate chip pancakes, ice cream with caramelised bananas. Would have preferred fried bananas to semi mashed ones.

Pear of Kings $5.80 it's sweet custard wrapped in mochi skin and shaped like a pear. nth pear taste abt it. hahahaha!

Honey Butter Cinnamon $5.9 In the middle of the toast contain vanilla ice cream with whipped cream on top. Din quite like it. The base of the toast was hard. Not enough ice cream/syrup to dip the big toast.

Salty Mr Brown $12.9 It was yummy. But the drink inside finish up fast cose ice cream inside took up half the space

Paella (1 serving: S$28, 2 servings: S$39) I suggested to Cat that we try J's for dinner as part of our Entertainer app adventures. The warm fluffy saffron rice dish with marinated chicken, tilapia and salmon is perfectly moist and aromatic. The chicken was amazingly tender and the chunks of salmon was so so fresh! We'd love to go back again for the delicious paella that wins in terms of fuss-free eating and taste.

Churros with Banana & Mango Churros layered with salted caramel bananas, fresh mangoes & coconut infused. It was a bit too creamy for me! ($12)

Lamb Tostadas Crispy corn tortillas with slow cooked leg of lamb served with spicy pick de gallo. Authentic taste! ($18)

Cempedak Creme Brulee 🤤 $7 for this and oh boy it was so good! Thought it would be a hot dessert but it was cold. Not complaining at all cuz it was really good and sweet. Had the real cempedak fruit inside as well and it was big too! So worth it yum yum. However best to share with someone as it can get jelak

Must Try Halal Food In The Area Had the Laksa Pasta with choice of Penne. So good and must order. Creamy laksa base which goes well with the Penne and generous amount of different seafood given. Worth it and will return to get it! Ordered the Truffle Shoestring Fries as well which was very fragrant and addictive. Do get it!!

Truffle Mushroom Pizza Service was great, but the food is slightly on a pricier side. This thin crust pizza is suitable for 1 person or as a side for sharing. Expect a pungent truffle smell as it is drizzled with the oil but not too overpowering when consumed. Overall, it is well cooked as egg is runny. Good experience.

Waffles with Ice Cream (NYE 2014) Yes, you're right. This is the simple and straightforward case of waffles and ice-cream, but I recall the ice-cream's flavour being outstanding - I believe it was Spicy Apple Crumble. Everybody who ever tagged along with me on my trips to the now-defunct Café Mondo was surprised at how much they liked it. Not all heroes wear capes, and not all heroes can remain in solid state at room temperature. 😹

1st Time At Cafe Mondo Pardon me for the photo. I had a met up with a group of ex-colleagues yesterday. As one of them needs halal food, we tried out Cafe Mondo. We ordered quite a number of food - chicken lucheon fries, mondo mac & cheese, cheesy meat balls, ice-cream with waffle and molten lava cake. My best favourites are the luncheon fries, mondo mac & cheese and molten lava cake. Having tried a few places' luncheon fries, I personally love the luncheon fries here as it tastes better than those I had tried. The Mondo mac & cheese is awesomely delicious too! If you can stomach some dessert, do try the molten lava cake as it is super rich in chocolate. Go with a group of friends so you can share and try out the different food.

Tebasaki burger🍔 recomend:crazy hungry time. 🍔double crispy tebasaki chiken with cheese&letus. taste is awesome but heavy after ate.

Putu Piring Cake ($11.50) TMC's Dunlop outlet felt slightly cramp if you compare it to their Bussorah or Esplanade joints, but their cakes were still on point. Had the Putu Piring cake slice, which was generously sprinkled with coconut gratings and filled with luscious palm sugar syrup. Slightly diabetes-inducing but what a good way to end off the night.

Ondeh Ondeh and Durian Cake Looks good, tastes even better!

Amazing Halal Food $114 for 4 person. Food were simply amazing, one of the best halal restaurant I've been to. Items were on the expensive side but the portions are so huge it can be shared by 2 per mains. And they gave us free wings and 2 chocolate cake. Staff was super attentive too, she helped us refill the water many times. Highly recommended!!

1 For 1 6pieces Chicken Wing/Boneless Chicken Deal is supper worth it. Comes up to around SGD4 per pax if u do not order any sides. For mine, it came with drinks and wedges. Totals to SGD7. I ordered the honey flavour, taste really good too! Will be sure to return during lunch time once in a while. Overall 4/5

6 Pcs Wings - Spicy Alabama & Blackened Voodoo The blackened voodoo chicken still taste warm even though we ate those few minutes later. The dry rub has a herb taste and it’s not overpowering but it is does not taste flavourful. Although the menu mention that Spicy Alabama sauce has cheese, we can’t taste the cheese in the sauce.

Wing Zone There’s a 1-1 promo by the shop for 8pcs original wings at $10.95. The BBQ flavour and Soy Garlic tasted about the same. Ordered another chicken quesadilla 1-1 spice level #1, just nice at $8.95. Takeaway made the wings a little cold. Will try for sit-in and their burgers the next time .

Turkish Egg From Penny University Include poached eggs, whipped Greek yoghurt, Moroccan harissa, oregano, sourdough. Quite enjoyable.

Turkish Eggs We didnt know what we should order from penny uni tbh and literally scroll thru burrple. Decided to order turkish eggs ($14) but felt disappointed on soft boiled egg 😅 and my friend said sourdough bread slightly hard to chew thru. I literally removed spicy sauce from the dish as I didn't really take spicy lol.

Matcha Latte & Spiked Muddy I felt that matcha latte ($7.50) quite sweet (a bit matcha taste) and milky, need to shake it before drinking as matcha powder didn't just dissolved it off that fast. Someone suggested for spiked muddy ($7) and taste not bad and not that acidic taste for coffee.

Crispy Skin Salmon $17 Loveeee this. Returned to this cafe cose of this dish. Enough cream base soup with salmon and the salmon skin remain crispy!! They had baby potatoes too

The Carnivore $28 I took all meat platter which comes with chicken and lamb slices. Black pepper sauce was nice for this. Pricey but good. Dono if it’s worth it but it was nice haha it comes along with boiled broccoli, bacon, fries and sunny side up egg.
