Pasta La Vista in habitat has increased their menu from only 3 pasta items to more than 8 and also include other items like salad. What came along was an increase in price and decrease in standard. This pasta used to cost $12.5, and was more buttery and flavourful; me and my friend found ourselves adding more salt at the counter as the taste was rather bland. Disappointed with the standard now.
The must order dish at this restaurant, the soup was said to be pressure cooked with the chicken and no water was added. The instructions for this dish is to drink the soup first, then add the chicken into the dish with bean sprout and mix in with the chilli oil sauce provided. the chilli sauce wasn’t spicy to me and elevated the taste of the chicken, which was otherwise bland as the taste had most likely went into the soup. The soup was a little salty but still very refreshing.
Taste like your usual 鸡公煲 with noodle.. rather tasty but not a memorable dish compared to others..
Highly recommended veg dish by the waitress, the pumpkin taste is very special and refreshing, different from the usual orange pumpkin that we often get in supermarket. try it for yourselves!
Star dish of the day, took around 30 minutes to cook as it’s grilled freshly over charcoal. Love the soft texture and taste of the fish, complimented by the spices but was not too spicy. Highly recommended though waiting time is quite long, served after we have finished all the dishes.
Lots of interesting flavour to choose from, like earl grey tie guan yin, bing bong (like paddle pop), earth (matcha and sesame). Place was quite crowded on Sunday night and was very worth it with burpple beyond!
Featuring zichar fares served in the form of a burger. this salted egg sotong ‘blur’ger ($9.8) was served with fries, coleslaw and water chestnut drink, housed within the same coffeeshop as KEK. The burger was served with salted egg sotong within, and taste just as good, if not better than the salted egg sotong dish we ordered from KEK cos it came with sauce while the real dish version was on the dry side. Would recommend to try if you are a zichar and burger fan cos you get the best of both worlds!
Located in the middle of the sentosa boardwalk, this restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has view of the water, sentosa and vivo, nice place to chill though a little dark. This place serves western and also local delights like char kway teow and laksa. Wasn’t expecting much but this carbonara ($13.9) exceeded my expectations, being very flavourful. there’s also wine bottles on sale which is not too heavy on the pocket.
The sushi standard here is so good, i see myself coming back very often though the price is not the cheapest. prices per plate range from $1.8 to $6.8, there’s also ala carte mains. the mentaiko squid ($2.8 for yellow plate) is very special and fresh, one of my favourite here!
interesting rendition of mushroom pasta, very strong in taste and generous with mushroom (more mushroom than pasta)
Denfinitely not what i expected when i ordered this dish. duck was torn and mixed with potato, capsicum and onion, seasoned with pepper.
early grey milk tea tasted artificial. won’t recommend this flavour
