Oldie but goodie. Get the rendang, the sambas goreng and grilled chicken. But almost everything we have had here was good to be honest. Never left disappointed. Salable is kick ass too. Wash it all down with a Bandung and you are set for the day.

Newish place we stumbled upon. We only had coffee and desserts there but they generously gifted us some cheese as they don’t keep those over night. Pretty good I must say and I will be back to sample the rest of their cheese offerings.

One of my favorite restaurants. Fried cauliflowers here are the best! The cheese / prawn and lamb kebabs are items to try as well. Visits to this restaurant are starting to become a monthly affair.

Favorite dish of the night was this potato truffle gratin. Desserts are awesome too.
Food at esquina was pretty good. Loved the potatoes with truffle, grilled cauliflower, suckling pig and both the deserts. Would come back again just for the desserts actually.
Not huge fan of the beef though. In general, portions are small so go wild!

This place does crabs well and at a decent price point. Fresh and meaty.
The fried rice though was a miss and I would skip that next time.

Carbs and fried food. What’s not to love. This is the best of all the different chains we have tried. Sure it has a long queue but if you get there early, it’s pretty manageable.

This place never disappoints. Good fresh sashimi slices and great price.

Wasn’t as good as I expected, given the glowing reviews online but still serviceable. The cream pastas got a little cloy quite quickly. It’s quiet during lunch though and makes for a great place to have a long catchup with friends.....

Great ambience, comfy chairs. Although it’s 8 courses , you don’t leave feeling super bloated. Good selection of savouries and sweets. 58sgd per pax.

The semi buffet at the lobby lounge is pretty good for lunch. Choose between seven hawker dishes for your main and then hit the buffet line for Popiah / Kueh Pie Tee station/ Nonya Kueh and local desserts. We tried the ba chor mee, prawn noodles and beef rendang. And found the ba chor mee the be the best. Soup was rich and tasty. Noodles nicely done. Good for returns.

Great service , good food and awesome brownies. The portion is huge though (came with 3 scoops of ice cream) so order to share.

Now this was a great find. The pics don’t do it justice. Beef was quite reasonably priced and they do a platter where the chef chooses a couple of different cuts for you to sample. We took a basic one with 4 cuts of beef at $78. Remember to ask for it unmarinated if you prefer your beef that way. The skirt steak here is great too! New favorite of ours!
